Tinsley will start over him. He looks ok, but then again I've never really seen ihm play so I really don't know how good he is or how good he can be..

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting playmaker31:</div><div class="quote_post">They won't be better than Miami. Miami blew them out of the water last year and SAR isn't going to put them past Miami or Indiana. I love the Nets, but thy are the third team in the east right now becuse Larry Brown is gone from Detroit.</div>

Are you saying the Nets are the third best team in the East? Because if you are, then that's just sad.

I'd put them at 3 or 4 because with no more Larry Brown you dont know what to expect form Detroit next year. So their 3 or 4 IMO.

Uh, no. Losing Larry Brown doesn't mean a team like the Nets are suddenly better. That's just pure bias on your part.

um...no it brings the Pistons down a notch, and with the siging of SAR it brings the Nets up a notch. Their healthy and they have a big 4 who will put up a lot of points how are they not a top 4 team in the East?

Oh ok, so they are better than the Bulls too now, right? Just because they win the Atlantic division doesn't mean they are a top 3-4 team in the East. MAYBE, they could be top 4 if the Bulls lose a key FA, but if they all return, they are the better team.

Oh come on, the Nets are better than them and you know it. They are better at every position except for Center and Chicago may not even have their center next year. Now New Jersey's big three is going to be together for a year unlike last year where is was only 5 games and RJ broke his wrist in the first game. Add SAR to the mix and they are better than the Bulls anyway.

[IMG] I can't believe the bias you are displaying. The Bulls are better defensively and have more depth. The Nets have NO bench whatsoever. The Bulls can put out a different combonation of players anytime they want. Hinrich/Gordon, Hinrich/Duhon, Chandler/Davis, etc. Look at the Pistons in the finals this past season, they had (arguably) 3, maybe even 4 players better at some positions than the Spurs, but San Antonio won because they had more depth and played better defense.

Face reality the Nets are a top 4 team in the EAST! Not the NBA the EASTERN CONFERENCE! They won the season series with Chicago last year without RJ so what makes you htink they won't win it this year with him and SAR. Chicago didn't even beat NJ once last year.

Don't even bother trying to convice him w/ an in depth explanation lol. Obviously he's biased, and doesn't understand that the Nets aren't that great of a team.

First of all, I'm not biased, and second of all, I think the Nets are a damn good team, but not GREAT in the same company as Indiana, Miami, Detroit, etc. I guess you agree as well. [IMG]

UH...ya I think you must be biased if you think the Bulls will be better than the Nets. I know that you probably hate the Nets because VC is on their team, but that doesn't mean the team will suck. What next, you think the Raps are better than the Nets too? I think we have a legit shot of contending for the East crown next year b/c the Pistons will lose the best coach in the NBA, the Pacers are losing their leade in Reggie, and Miami's title hopes hinge on Zo staying healthy, which is iffy. If any team is going to compete with Miami, Indy, Detroit and NJ for the best 4 teams in the East, it'll be Cleveland, not Chicago.
