So to say if Jason Kidd goes down the Nets become mediocore goes without saying........but if anybody else gets injuried the Nets can still stay a float in the East and that includes Vince Carter....now if a bunch of injuries pile up at once like certian points of last year then that is a different story.

According to the NJ Post, the Blazers would need to aqquire a 1st round Draft Pick for Shareef. And the team that would give the 1st are the Kings. Also to note, rumors have it that the Kings, Blazers, and Nets are talking about a 3-way trade. But, I have no idea what the deal would be, who would get Rahim, etc.
The Nets are willin to give a first rounder but the Blazers also want Mile Illic which the Nets dont want to give
