<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Emplay:</div><div class="quote_post">With the pending trade of Chucky Atkins to the Washington Wizards, the Los Angeles Lakers are left with a single point guard on the roster, Sasha Vujacic. Though he eventually may develop into an every day player, Vujacic is simply not ready for a starting role in the NBA. The Lakers are said to have offered free agent point guard Antonio Daniels their full mid-level exception. LA seems a perfect fit for his skill set, but it would seem that the Portland Trail Blazers now have the inside track on Daniels. At issue is contract length. Los Angeles has apparently refused to give Daniels a deal longer than two years.</div> http://www.hoopsworld.com/article_13437.shtml [red]* Great article by a great Laker journalist. Lets not cheat him out by republishing his article in its entirety. Thanks. -Mel[/red]
tierre brown? two words, hell no. brown isnt a very good player, he cant shoot well, cant defend well, and is a turnover prone. IMO he shouldnt even be in the league.

I see stuff like this on this site all the time, so I didn't think that I was cheating anybody; just wanted to share the artical to others.... but if you thought that I was cheating him than I appologize... I'll watch it next time...
What do you guys think of B.Night? If the Daniels deal doesn't go through, he might be another prospect to look into... I always thought he was a decent player...

Yah I hear you... I think I agree with you on Tierre Brown though... He looked pretty decent last year during the beginning of the season; but as the weeks went by, I was tearing the hair out of head due to his game... Last year was just a BAD year for the Lakers in general... I really do see them redeeming themselves though; at least I hope they do...
D- fish was good at the price we had him for. Now he is obviously over paid, and though he does know the triangle, have experience, likes Kobe....he's not worth sacrificing other free agents for. The lakers are over the cap now but they are going to be WAY under the cap by next summer. Anyhow Lue would be the best bet, good defense, knows the system and would probably be thrilled to come back from Atlanta. Also he plays amazing defense which is all that really matters, as I have stated before- the triangle doesn't need a great pg to run smoothly.
