This is not gonna be a contest. Brooks is gonna get smacked by that panther d line. Brooks will get intercepted 3 times by that panther seconday. Stephen Davis, Deshaun Foster, Nick Goings, and Eric Shelton is gonna bust through that defense like it was a high school team. Rod "he hate me" Smart is gonna return a kickoff for a TD. And Jake Delhomme will have 4 TDs

    Panthers 42
    Saints 6

Brooks may throw an INT or 2, but not 3. Deuce will own the Panthers D for 100 yds. Delhomme will have a hard time staying in the pocket and he'll throw a pick or two.

    Saints 24
    Panthers 20

Not going to happen. the front 7 will domintate you guys. Thomas Davis will smack deuce in the mouth with a huge hit and fumble the ball. Mike Wahle is gonna dominat any guy he goes up against. You guys will not dominate like you did in week 17 last year. Jordan Gross moving back to RT will return to his all pro form like he did when he was a rookie

Saints will win this one I think.
    Saints 7
    Panthers 3

I think It will be a good close game. With an Interception at the end of the game by the saints. Stoping it in the panthers end zone and then they saints come out on top.

not enough to try and get him...he also supposedly "loved" Dewayne Robertson and alot of other guys he never had any intentions of drafting.

Thomas Davis won't be a bust. But i do think he went rather high in the draft. I still think Josh Bullocks was the best safety in the draft.

I can't say eitherway..I'm just giving him shit cus he is already counting on him to knock out every RB in the league and shut down Vick...

There's only 4 safeties that has kept or can keep Vick contained.

    Brian Dawkins
    Rodney Harrison
    Ed Reed
    Dwight Smith

i just think Thomas Davis stocked dropped because he was in between S and LB, just like Micheal Boulware was. Boulware proved last year that he should of been a 1st rounder. I dont think Thomas Davis ball skills are there yet but i know he is a hell of a tackler

Thomas Davis was by far the best saftey in the draft. don't put bullocks name unless your gonna mention Brodney Poole of OU.

Brodney Pool is the #2 best safety.

Thomas Davis is gonna be fine in the NFL. Hes primary role is run stopper. And on passing situations like 3rd down he will be going up against TEs. Hes gonna be one of the best cover linebackers because of his speed.

watching saints and panthers fans fight it out over week 1 and who has the better safety is just so dumb. 1. This is smack talk forumm at least talk some smack. If you called Rome with this take you couldnt get past call screener.
    2. Both your teams suck. The only contest where they would be competitive is if we had a contest to see which franchise had the worse luck. I can see it now
    Panthers "Fred Lane"
    Saints "Stadium on Burial Ground"
    Panthers "Rae Carruth"
    Saints "Remember the Bags?"

At least in New Orleans you can find somethign to do, the only good thing bout NC is that Jordan came from there

    3. Thomas davis is not a good player. To be a good NFL player you have to do one key thing - PLAY A REAL GAME. Til then he is nothing better than he is no better than the pile of paper bags the janitor will be sweeping up at end of season when they miss playoffs again!
