Grady Jackson also decided to report to camp on time after talking about holding out for a new contract. He is also a Rosenhaus client. ha

Jackson says he wants a new deal, but he's willing to play without one. If he DOES play and the Packers don't give him a new contract, he says this will be his last year in Green Bay.

I'm glad all these guys are reporting...it makes me feel batter that Seymore will report tomorrow as well when vets are due...but we'll see. I'm glad Drew isn't getting his way because we'd see even more holdouts next season.

Yea you said it pal. This is got to be getting under Drew's skin because he don't get paid. He only became a big time agent because he worked out the Portis-Bailey deal.

None of Drew's players are listening to him. Hopefully those guys will fire him and find new agents

Grady Jackson asked to be cut or traded today. He's pulling a "Mike McKenzie!"

Jackson flunked his physical in Green Bay, so he has to sit out from camp and rehab his knees with the strength and conditioning coach.

yea he has flunked his physical like you said. Also he is very unhappy in Green Bay and doesn't want to play here. He wants more money and he wants to be cut or traded. Bad news for the Packers.

A lot of packer players and former Packer players want out because they think the Packers cant go to the Playoffs. I read a story that the main reason the Mike Wahle left is to go to the Playoffs

Mike Whale wasn't a Free Agent he was cut to avoid paying him a roster bonus. I would have preferred to keep him but Gaurds are easier the replace than tackles and we stood by that by signing Clifton to his monstrous deal.

You read a false article then. Wahle was cut. The Packers wanted to save money.

The packers were dumb to cut Wahle and Rivera. They helped Favre get lots of time, Brett is gonna get a lot of pressure up the middle this year

We've got Flanigan at full health, and we have Larry Beightol one of the best Line coaches in the NFL, O'dwyer and Klemm both are good enough stop gaps if Healthy, were pretty deep at gaurd right now, we have over 12 different guys fighting for a spot there.

We coulden't keep Whale or Rivera they just wanted tooo much, we decided to pay Clifton elite tackle money and knew the eventual consequences.

Yea guards are a lot easier to replace than Tackles. Clifton and Tausher are still one of the best tackle tandems in football and Flanigan is a pro bowl center recovering from an injury but is a 100% now. A lot of Patroit personall were very high on Klemm but his downfall there were that he can't stay healthy. If he can stay healthy I think he can be as effective as a 33 year old Rivera with back problems. O'dwyer is solid from what I have read about training camp as well but Grey Ruegmer who started 11 games last season for us will push for a starting job as well. I heard they might experiment with Kevin Berry at guard as well which might be a good idea. Either way it's still a top 10 unit in the league. GB has always had deph at offensive line and we still got a nice unit.

Welcome to the salary cap era... The Packers wanted to keep both, but Dallas threw stupid money at Rivera and Wahle was finally due his big payday. There was no way the Packers could have ever afforded to pay him what he's worth. They had no choice...

I agree that the line will be fine. I don't see any major dropoff this year from last year as long as Clifton, Tauscher and Flanagan stay healthy. The two new starting guards, whoever they end up being, will do a great job.

but Favre wont have the amount of time like he had last year. I see Favre getting around 8 more sacks than he did last year

DT's are more of run stoppers. How many pass rushing DT's are there in the league?? We still got our tackles which should do very good.

O'Dwyer is a Bruiser, he's not as athletic as Rivera or Whale but he can crush people if given the chance, Klemm although his durabillity is in question is a very athletic gaurd who could perform all the pulls in a similar manner to Whale, it all depends on if they stay healthy, besides them we have a great Run blocker in Kevin Berry who may even be starting come game day and versatile Grey Ruegamer who can play just about any spot on the line he may also be starting come gameday. The more competition the better.
