<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Indiana Pacers have expressed interest in free agent guard Juan Dixon, according to Dixon's agent, Calvin Andrews.

"We've had a conversation with (Pacers CEO) Donnie Walsh about Juan," Andrews said. "The next phase is seeing about bringing Juan in for a visit with them."

Andrews didn't have a timetable on a visit with the Pacers, but Dixon, the 17th pick in the 2002 draft, reportedly met with Portland on Thursday and he's expected to meet with Seattle this weekend. Miami, Cleveland and Sacramento also have shown interest in the unrestricted free agent.

Dont need him.Not sure why Petrie would be looking at him.Its not like Dixon fits in anywhere on the roster. It wouldnt make sense. He wouldnt play point guard. He wouldnt be second in line at shooting guard. It wouldnt make sense to sign him and play him as shooting guard when it would take away from Martin and Garcias chance to develop.Maybe hed be brought here and then get packaged up with another player or two and sent off for someone the Kings could use.Maybe hed be packaged up with Peja....for Artest!?!?Juan Dixon as a King? I say bad idea.
