E-A-R-L W-A-T-S-O-N. This guy should be the Heats number one choice. I'm surprised the Heat or anybody else havn't even offered him a contract.

Of all the guys mentioned on that list I am most interested in Brevin Knight and Earl Watson. Brevin Knight is an underated point guard who played very well for the Bobcats last year. He averaged 10 PPG and 9 APG and is just the type of point guard we need to spread the ball around to all of our scorers. He is also an excellent defensive player averaging close to 2 SPG last season. Brevin Knight is around 30 years old so he wouldn't be a long term answer but could fill our needs for a cople seasons. Earl Watson is another guy I like and I think he could come in and make an impact right away. Watson is only 26 and has many more teams interested in him so he could be more difficult to get then Knight. Either of these guys would fit well with our team and would be nice acquisitions this offseason.

The HAwks are most liekly going to offer this guy a very lucrative contract that he cannot refuse so he is out of the wuestion. I too though Easl Watson would've been a great addition. My favorite option of course is Damon Stoudemire. He is a GREAT addition over Damon Jones. He is a better scorer. He scored 50 points this season without Shaq. He is a better shooter. He is definetly a better defender. Defeintly on the top of my wishlist for the Miami Heat.

It's not really out of the question. The Hawks are looking to sign JJ to be their starting PG. Earl Watson wants to be a starter while making good cash. He can do that in Miami with a great chance to win a title. In ATL, he'll just be a backup and it'll be a matter of time before a team starts calling to acquire him so he has a larger role.

If the Suns match the offer, that's another story, because the Hawks will overpay greatly for him. You can't bank on him going to ATL because many things can occur in the off-season.

I've read that the Heat have been in discussions with Antoine Walker, what do you guys think of having him on your team? I don't really see how he would fit in, seeing as you have a great up and coming PF in Udonis Haslem. Walker seems to mainly be a 3 point chucker, and needs the ball a lot taking shots from Shaq and Wade.

I've updated the list. I took un-bolded names like Watson and Stoudamire who are expected to sign elsewhere.

Who from this list would you like for the Heat to sign? We need a backup PG and their are a few options. Lue, Blake, Best, Pargo are the ones I'm interested in. Lue is the though that I prefer since he has experience playing with Shaq and playing with another star (Kobe). He has some D, and can score and distribute the ball as well. His biggest knock is his height, but he can get the job done as a backup.

Heat need a defensive minded PG. I'd sign Lue because he is a good defender, has playoff experience, and has played with Shaq before. I'm sure he will sign for cheap money.
