Now for the real answer to the Nuggets' two-guard problems: Michael Finley. Don't bother sorting through all the other names swirling around. It's all about Finley. If, as expected, he is waived by the Mavs so they can save money against the NBA's luxury tax, the Nuggets figure to be on his short list. That's short list as in teams he would consider playing for, not teams interested in having him. Several teams want him, but only a precious few - Miami, Detroit, Denver, maybe Phoenix - stand a chance of landing him. That's the difference between the Nuggets of today and the Nuggets Kiki Vandeweghe inherited. Our Town has become a destination stop for free agents. So, assuming Finley hits the market, which team will get him? I'd bet on the Nuggets for a handful of reasons. Im thinkin Finely will sign with the Suns because he thinks there he has more of a chance winnin a championship rather than Denver
Finley would be an excellent addition. I believe the Nuggets could get to the Semi-Finals and maybe even the WCF if they pick up Finley.
Wow it seems that many teams are pursuing Finley. Finley would have a good spot in Denver and they need a shooter beside Leonard.
Finley would be a great signing anywhere, but especially with Phoenix and Denver. I see him going with the Suns more so... why? Because Nash is there and they have more of a contending team there than Denver does. Plus since JJ might not come back, it gives Finley a opening right off the bat... just get him to play some defense...
Finley would be a great fit for Denver. I could see them going deep into the playoffs with him on their roster.
