Wow i didnt think they would sign him. So about Tinsley and Johnson. I doubt they are going to have three point guards on the team so im pretty sure they might try to trade Johnson
Usually I would say Johnson would be worth nothing but I remembered he played very well this season - post season. Tinsley to the lakers... sounds good but who will they trade for him?
Damn, Pacers are officially a lock to win the finals, This team already was going to contend, but you add this tough ass Lietuva who can shoot score and pass, with great players like Jackson, Artest, O'Neil, Foster, and a tough bench you got a good squad here. I wonder what they're gonna do with Tinsley
A lock to win the finals? They need to learn to shoot first before that happens. This signing gives them a guy who can actually hit a jump shot which is a good start. They did lose one of the all time great shooters of the game and replaced him with this guy. I don't know If that will be enough to win It all. They just havn't proved they can shoot a high enough % to win in the playoffs. They are however a great regular season team, I will give them that.

If they had their bodies in check to last a full year of basketball they wouldn't be in the position they are when It comes to the playoffs. Teams who have players in the best possible shape are the ones who go far in the post season. The Pacers best player is a known guy who does not lift himself for the playoffs, he plays the same or worse. Thats Indy's main problem.
What a great pickup for the Pacers! Finally we get a guy that can shoot, pass effectively. Not a bad replacement for Reggie.... However, I wonder what we are going to do with guys like Tinsley and Anthony Johnson? I'm thinking keep them because guys will get injured, so keep a deep bench. I got dibs on number 3 or 4 in the East this season.

Thats Indy's main problem.</div> yeah,i can see how you came to that conclusion. but can you blame him the last few times they've been in the playoffs its been him against the other teams center and forward. example against detroit he was getting hounded by both wallaces and had no help apart from foster. and as hard a worker as he is hes no offensive threat so i wouldnt say that he dosent lift his game its just that due to the playoff atmosphere the defense is more adept. and coaches are more intouch with certain teams weaknesses and strenghts.this is why we always got a problem with teams that have a strong post threat.
i only see one prob with this signing. what no. is he gona have his no is 13 but Harrison uses that no will we see a al jefferson type situation or will he just have to live with ??
HOLY! Damn, that's a good pickup! If he's as good as he was last summer, my goodness! That guy had a NASTY jumper.
i was hoping the cavs would sign him, but it's great for the pacers, i thought they were going to represent the east last yr, but stuff happens and this year it looks like they are ready to compete again with the elite..without reggie though..i really hope he comes back for one more season cuz the pacers look promising and should be a team to watch out for..
