Pacers have just signed Euro sensation, Sarunas Jasikevicius.

It is a long shot, and more of a wishful thinking thing, but what are our chances for trading for him?

Is there anything we could offer for him?

Didn't they sign him to a contract extensions? To me, it seems he is still part of their plans. Though he is the mold of player we need, it would be a long shot to get him, even if we had something the Pacers wanted. For now, I think our safest bet is to do a SnT, or pray that Stoudamire and Finley take the LLE and Vet's Minimum.

I like Tinsley's game. The only flaw I see him having is his outside shot. Other than that, his game is nice. His toughness is something that sticks out, and would be a nice quality for the Rockets.

never gonna happen hes to important unless theres an offer they cant refuse. the fact that they told jav that he wouldnt be the starter means that they rate tins as their first option.read the main article he took the job as a backup.bye, bye chris thomas.

A little offtopic, but how come both of Pacers' PGs look like they're 40 years old (Tinsley and A.Johnson) and they both look the same?? (Bearded and all)

Anyways, I highly doubt we can ever get Tinsley. He's part of the Pacers' core and is still young (27).

I didn't think Tinsley was young. I thought he was a late bloomer who entered the NBA late.

Anyway, I knew it was an extreme long shot, and only brought up the topic for the sake of discussion since JAv.... '(however u speel it) was heading over. I really like Tinsley too, he is one of the best playmakers in the league and i think he is an underrated shooter.

Theres no way Tinsley becomes a Rocket...Larry Bird loves the kid, and even predicted all-star greatness from him awhile back...no point in really discussing this issue...

Tinsley has a tendency to be a bit erratic at offense at times. He attempts a few wild shots and that is not going to fit in the Van Gundy offense. What I am impressed about Tinsley is his passing ability. He had a 22-assist game in his rookie season and has always been able to find the open man on offense.

There isn't really any credibility in such an addition, as the Pacers are definitely in need of a better backup than Anthony Johnson, who is an average 8th-10th man.

Sarunas Jasikevicius is a few years away from a starting job so I doubt the Pacers would be willing to trade Jamal Tinsley just yet. He is a solid starter who can distribute the ball around to all of their scorers and can also put up some points when asked. I think he is going to stay in Indiana because he has been an important factor for the Pacers in the last couple of years.
