Interesting piece on Terrell Brandon the former all-star. http://www.nba.com/cavaliers/news/where_brandon_050707.html
That's crazy. I was just thinking about what happened to him. He fell off hard. I was wathcing this thing on NBA tv, it was from '97 it was so lame. Doug E Fresh was on there and they were all, "One of the league's biggest star's, Terrell Brandon!!!" I was like, WOW, this is old.
He was a fine point guard, I remember SI running a piece on him proclaiming him the league's best. Probably not quite, but he convinced the Cavs to trade Mark Price. Unfortunately, injuries killed him, like so many others.
yeah, my uncle was a big fan of him back in the day. when i got older and started to watch the nba, i was like, he's your favorite player?! i mean, he wasnt a real bad player or anything, but there were a lot of players better than him. btw, his stats in the year he retired wasnt that bad:http://www.nba.com/playerfile/terrell_brandon/
i loved him when he was playing for the t-wolves in 1999. a good scrappy point, very much like tony parker, although not as quick, but had a way better shot
I totally remember him when he was with the T-Wolves. Especially in the playoffs, when they were playing (the Lakers?) when he torched the team he played against... he was something special. I didn't know much back then about basketball, except that Brandon caught my eye.
