    Go for it, Hayes [IMG]

You'll really like the Tony Allen/Gerald Green dunks in this game.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting openglfx:</div><div class="quote_post"> If Murph comes back to the form he was in during his Sophmore season, he's gonna be tough. I hope he regains some hops and consistency. I think Murph is tougher than we all think he is. Murph can finish inside, we've seen him do it, just that last season.. he had no lift.</div>

Murphy in college he was known for his mid range J. He's terrible with his right hand near the bucket. He tries to finish on the right side of the basket with his left and unless you've got some hops, your stuff will get swatted. If your on the right side, use your right. On the left side, use your left. That is post play 101. Learning to use both hands is no easy task yet having to learn post moves and counters. We need him for now but if Mullin is serious about winning, we need an upgrade at that spot. I really wish we could keep him as a 6th man but he doesn't cut the mustard as a starter, he makes too much to be benched and teams with a legit center would love to have Murph. I don't see him being here for another 2 years, IMO.

I wonder how this lineup would do?

    C: Foyle/Biedrins/Taft
    PF: Murphy/Diogu/Zarko/Taft
SF: Dunleavy/Pietrus/Zarko/Jawad Williams(hopefully, who else will do the dirty work?)
    SG: Richardson/Pietrus
    PG: Baron Davis/Derek Fisher/Monta Ellis

Lineup looks sweet on paper. I'm guessing Foyle/Fisher/Murphy are odd men out and we'll never know if Richardson's the bait a la the Dallas trade that sent Jamison packing. I mean 4-5 more years of FoyleFish is a lot of time and Murphy's got 6 more years starting this year. The guy I feel bad for is Zarko. He has no true position, but he's the only real player that visibly makes others better off the bench and can get us some great production by outrunning the other team's bench forwards or centers.

Tanks for posting the game CR2, if you have any more please post them.

I saw the game about a week ago so i dont remember the very fine deteils. I'd like to ask if anyone else thought the referees were totally biased and unknowledgable of the draft picks? One of them had never heard of Diogu and thought that May is better (according to reports from workouts: Diogu> Taft> May). Then they raved about Gerald Green and he probably didn't make any shots that weren't dunks.

The game was interesting though, Diogu obviously didn't have a very good game but he wasn't getting the ball in the post and the Celtics double-teamed him quite a bit. Towards the end of the game I got to see his post game which was very polished, he should be able to get us some much needed points in the post, even in his rookie year he should be able to get to the line a ton.

Monta was very impressive, needs to work on his free throws but I see him being our best player of the draft (when looking back at it) He could end up being a 6'3 A.I. but if he buffs up he will likely be more like Gilbert Arenas. Monta's passing was very inconsistent, one time he would fail to lob Diogu a 10 foot pass, another time he will break down the defense and whip the ball through the lane to a wide open big man under the rim. Shooting was a little bit streaky but probably at least as good as any other HSer in the draft. Mullin knew what he was doing when he picked him ahead of Marty A., Taft, Blatche, etc. At first I didn't like the pick but now i dont see how he slipped to the second round.

Keep in mind these are NBDL guys trying to get better at making split second judgement calls. Also, the team of refs generally have to be on the same page whether they decide to "let the players play" or call "ticky tacky" fouls. All you can really ask for is consistency and a good set of eyes and some good judgement and some willingness to hear some feedback from the players, coaches, etc. Guys like Bill Spooner and Zack Zarba are so inconsistent and so stubborn that it's the one thing I agree with Jim Barnett on that they aren't very good refs. I like the senior officials like Joe Forte, Joe Crawford, Dick Bavetta because they're skilled at what they do and they're fair. I guess, if they weren't, they wouldn't be senior officials. I actually watch enough recordings of these games to see if these guys got the calls right. If I'm wrong about the above 3, well woops, wrong guy(s)! Generally the older refs, are the better refs I've noticed because they go in prepared and are more humble than most starting out and trying to get some respect in the league.

On the game play, I've really no issue with Diogu or Ellis. Diogu and Ellis have some very good fundamentals and a lot of talent. I thought Ellis should have passed the ball a bit more and communicated, but he's no point guard yet. Diogu was having some trouble on D and O, but as long as he's able to handle the offense and defense most nights, I think he'll be one of those guys that will be a fan favorite. I mean he hustles and he can devastate an entire front line when he's rolling. Plus he rebounds and blocks shots and never gives up on plays. Despite people saying he's slow, I dont think he's that slow because number one, he's a big dude dragging around 250 lbs and the other is that he's also fluid and very coordinated for his size. He's no stiff. Also he's got great hands when the passes are within reason. I'm not sure if he's like Biedrins who catches some really bad passes and hard passes at close range. The guy's amazing with his hands like the basketball is coated with poly grip. Simply amazing.

There should be a timer at the top right of the page, once it ends a "download" button should appear in place of the timer.

Like Run BJM said, there's a download button that counts down from 30 or so seconds that sometimes gets hidden completely by that advertisment box. You can drag it out of the way or click on the "x" button to close it. Then just click on the button that says "download".

There's also information further down that says what file size is and what the name of the file is.

    BTW welcome, Warriorsfan [IMG]
