<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Christopher Reina/RealGM - Multiple sources have confirmed that Chad Ford, NBA Insider for ESPN.com will be leaving his post in the coming weeks. He will become a professor of international conflict resolution at Brigham Young University-Hawaii. Representatives from ESPN could not be reached for comment on Tuesday evening. Ford joined ESPN in 2001 when sportsTALK.com became ESPN Insider, a subscription based service on the site. Ford previously was the executive editor of sportsTALK.com, an internet sports site he co-founded with Jason Peery. Prior to his role with sportsTALK, Ford graduated from Georgetown Law School, after earning a degree in history from Brigham Young University-Hawaii in 1995. His NBA coverage has taken him all over the world scouting international talent and he has routinely broken important free agent signings and trades. Though sometimes disputed, Ford?s impact and influence on NBA news has become unquestionable. He has always delivered valuable information to his audience. No word yet on who ESPN will tap to replace him.</div> Source

He always knew and had all the juicy information regarding sports and basketball rumors and trades, etc. He was a big factor in ESPN's popularity, (to me at least) because I alwyas read what he had to say, since he always had the right information. It was always Chad Ford who was the first to release any info.
chad ford will be missed. i liked his articles. who cared that he was "disputed." his articles and observations esp. when it came to pre draft camps and rumors, were informative and gave insight to the NBA that we normally dont hear or read about. International conflict resolution is nothing more than a pre law/business class. I took something similar to that when i attended Temple U. Personally I wouldnt have made that choice but he must really want to do that.
Yeah, he had info and stuff like that- but when it came to drafting it was almost totally wrong. Anyways, but regards to him on "international conflict resolutions". <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">International conflict resolution? What`s that? Chad Ford will not be missed, he has become progressively worse and his credbility is in the tank. Most of the rumors he writes about are thought up by himself or one of his writers. One thing I do respect about him is the fact he never became an attention whore demanding air time on ESPN. He also worked hard and obviously had a passion for his job. I just think he got too, caught up in trying to be the first to break headlines (whether it was personal ego, or company pressure to produce), instead of checking his sources soundly and reporting accurate dealings. I'm curious to see who replaces him.
I don't live in America or anything but from what I've heard about him, he's a biased person and tells the public what they would like to hear instead of the truth.
forget chady ford never liked him never will he's leaving who cares good for him, now steven a smith can live with him and i will be happier annoying cowards man !!
