Can you give me a link? I tend to be skeptical on things like this until I see a official story. I want to believe it, but don?t want to type a four paragraph post on how good/bad this is until I know it?s official.

Well if it happened I would not be upset though a lot of people will look at it and say that's a lot of money. However, in reality we really will be saving an abundant amount of money should he accept that deal, because it is not the max offer we can give him. I believe it is around twenty two million dollars under the max, and considering they were reportable ready to offer both Curry and Chandler the max to keep them that is a huge advantage. One thing that concerns me however at the same time is how willing will he be to accept that contract if Curry gets a bigger deal, and the Bulls match this goes both ways. I do not think that Chandler and Curry are measuring the scale of money that they should get by what other young centers got. I feel like they will measure the deals they get mainly to that of each other?s contracts. To see how the organization valued most, and rewarded a bigger contract. Sort of like a parent giving more affection to one kid over the other. Chandler is definitely going to be a premier defensive player in the league in a couple of seasons. I think he is a compatible comparison to Dennis Rodman without the dress, piercing, colored hair, and crazy antics. I think this primarily do to the fact they both bring the same thing to the table the ability to be a shut down big man who will be able to defend virtually anyone they are matched up against (a statement that will hold truer once Shaq retires). However, going back to the defense Rodman comparison D-Rod?s offensive game never caught up to his defensive/rebounding ability, and it is sort of concerning me that it may happen to Chandler as well. True he is young, and has averaged around nine points most of his career thus far with the Bulls, and had a couple twenty point out bursts. However, his shot has not improved that much since he entered the league. I am hoping we bring in a big man coach somewhat like Houston has with Patrick Ewing. Someone who could help Chandler develop his offense maybe even a hook shot. At practically seven feet Chandler with a hook shot is a scary thought. Just to wrap things up I guess what I am trying to say... If we offer him this and he accepts- GOOD we need a player who can rebound and defend like him If he can not develop his offensive game a little more before next season- BAD especially if we can not manage to have Curry return. We will rely on him to try and the keyword is try to anchor the offense for us. So far he has been lucky him and Curry have had a Wing Wang relationship, but if Curry leaves... all eyes will be on Tyson Chandler. My perfect off-season Resign Chandler for 60 million or less in the six to five year range Resign Curry to a contract worth around as much as Chandler or less ideally in the 50 million dollar range for about five to six years same as Chandler Acquire Michael Finley only if the Mavericks waive him if they want a trade let it go we need to save that money to resign Gordon, Hinrich, and Deng Also acquire either Gugliotta or Toni for the minimum and have them play a mentor role to the team.
WOW! 10 million a year for what?? 13 pts and 7 rebs. They should expect huge numbers from him in the future or they might have just screwed there future with this contract. they have hinrich, gordon, and deng and nocioni and a whole bunch of other players to sign in the future. WOW, big move by bulls management.

However, statistics really do not tell half the story in this situation remember he was drafted straight out of high school so he is actually ahead of the curb for a player his age. True at first glance it looks like a lot of money, but should he continue to the develop the way he has been going during the next couple seasons this will look like a steal for that price. Not to mention if he were to accept this offer we would be signing him on our own terms rather than waiting for the Hawks to offer him the max or something to that nature, and have to match that contract to keep him. We also have Eddie Robinson and Antonio Davis? deals official coming off our cap this summer I believe that will give us a lot of cap room. Right now we are in the lower twenties in the league for cap room if you rank teams from highest cap to lowest, because a lot of guys are on their rookie deals. So we still got some cap room also if we let Curry walk (hypothetically) and resign Chandler and Duhon we will be eight million dollars under the cap and have that money to resign Hinrich and Gordon and either Nocioni or Deng. (I read in a article forget where)
Even though i think its little bit to much money, good move keeping him the Bulls need him on Defense(to block shots) and he brings alot of energy.
This would be a great signing for the Bulls. He is very important to our team. Now its time to resign Curry.
Quite a bit of money for a guy who has injury troubles. Oh well, everyone's getting too much money this off season, right? I think that it's good that the Bulls are willing to do what it takes to sign Chandler. He's a key to their team, a very good defensive presence, and I think he'll start putting up better offensive numbers, too.
I think this is alot of money for a guy that comes of the bench and gets you 9.0ppg and 10reb he's young and could become a defensive force a bit too much money if teams are offering him close to this much and this is what the baby bulls have to do to not let him just leave to another team like the hawks or maybe golden state good, but we have to resighn Eddy curry forget duhon sighn important players not roster fillers like duhon please! And gordon Is the future belive it cant let him go like artest or elton brand, and this year it would be good for a while if tyson chandler and ben gordon started thats what wee need and I dont see whos stopping us in the central to win that division, thats what bulls need.
That seems about right i think. Maybe we can argue if he's worth that much right now, but i'm pretty sure he'll be worth it down the road. Eventually he will become a starter, play 35-40 minutes, and earn that salary. The biggest thing is, he will have to learn how to stay out of foul trouble. Seems like Dalembert's contract set the market value for Tyson, but i like to compare him to Camby. And he's in that range too, so i can live with this deal...
