I think the next move they should make is definetly a trade for a PF. I'm just wondering who could they trade for though??
Maybe DHoward, but I doubt that trade would happen, who would orlando take?
What trades would u like to see?

Dwight Howard is probably out of the question. Its hard to make a big trade because all we got to trade is Thomas, Williamson, Skinner, Martin, and Garcia. If we can get a good PF in a deal, Petrie would shoot for it. But if they can't, another possibility is the Sign and Trade of Maurice Evans with a couple of the players I've named.

Trade Peja for Artest. I dont care how crazy Artest is,I just think the Kings need to shake it up a little more. After that trade the Kings will have added Skinner,Thomas,Wells,Hart and Artest all of whom are hardnosed players.

C-Booz for Peja and Songaila, like sign and trade, and it's good for both teams.

foster, johnson to the hornets for magloire and claxton. a win win situation. the pacers will finally get a post player worthy of being called one and a good backup pg with speed and the hornets would get a tough nosed rebounder and a vet point guard to teach paul this would also mean that they could keep dan.

[IMG] J_Ray's idea is obviously one sided.Sure lets trade one of the best shooters in the world for another smallish powerforward who isnt much better than the small powerforward that starts for the Kings. While we're at it,lets throw in Songaila [IMG].

If Kenny Thomas is nearly as good as Boozer then the Kings would have no hole at PF.

^If Kenny Thomas were 2 inches taller the Kings would have no hole at PF.Compare Boozer and Thomas's stats and contracts please.Very Similar stats, very different contracts.Or lets just take money out of it and compare stats and talent.Boozer is bigger, but not by much and still on the small side.Thats about it.Trading Peja and Songaila for Boozer is unjustifiable and semi laughable.

How about a trade involving Lamar Odom? A 3 way deal where Peja lands in Indiana, Ron Artest goes to Los Angeles, and Odom goes to Sacramento.

    Indiana Trade Breakdown

    Outgoing
Ron Artest 6-7 SF from St. Johns 24.6 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 3.1 apg in 41.6 minutes
Anthony Johnson 6-3 PG from Charleston (SC) 8.4 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 4.8 apg in 27.7 minutes
Fred Jones 6-2 SG from Oregon 10.6 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 2.5 apg in 29.4 minutes

    Incoming
Vlade Divac 7-1 C from Serbia 2.3 ppg, 2.1 rpg, 1.3 apg in 8.7 minutes
Peja Stojakovic 6-10 SF from Yugoslavia 20.1 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 2.1 apg in 38.4 minutes

Change in team outlook: -21.2 ppg, -5.9 rpg, and -7.0 apg.

    L.A. Lakers Trade Breakdown

    Outgoing
Lamar Odom 6-10 PF from Rhode Island 15.2 ppg, 10.2 rpg, 3.7 apg in 36.3 minutes
Vlade Divac 7-1 C from Serbia 2.3 ppg, 2.1 rpg, 1.3 apg in 8.7 minutes

    Incoming
Ron Artest 6-7 SF from St. Johns 24.6 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 3.1 apg in 41.6 minutes
Anthony Johnson 6-3 PG from Charleston (SC) 8.4 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 4.8 apg in 27.7 minutes
Kenny Thomas 6-7 PF from New Mexico 11.3 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 1.6 apg in 28.6 minutes

Change in team outlook: +26.8 ppg, +3.4 rpg, and +4.5 apg.

    Sacramento Trade Breakdown

    Outgoing
Peja Stojakovic 6-10 SF from Yugoslavia 20.1 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 2.1 apg in 38.4 minutes
Kenny Thomas 6-7 PF from New Mexico 11.3 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 1.6 apg in 28.6 minutes

    Incoming
Fred Jones 6-2 SG from Oregon 10.6 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 2.5 apg in 29.4 minutes
Lamar Odom 6-10 PF from Rhode Island 15.2 ppg, 10.2 rpg, 3.7 apg in 36.3 minutes

Change in team outlook: -5.6 ppg, +2.5 rpg, and +2.5 apg.

    Successful Scenario
Due to Indiana, L.A. Lakers, and Sacramento being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Indiana, L.A. Lakers, and Sacramento had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

This would benefit every team because:

Indiana - gets a shooter to replace Reggie Miller as an outside threat, providing a scoring option after Jermaine O'Neal. This also reunited Vlade Divacs, which would be a great mental boost for Peja, maybe elevating his game to the next level. Even though the stats look bad, with the change in team outlook at -21.2 ppg, -5.9 rpg, and -7.0 apg. for Indiana, they open up more PT for Granger and Eddie Gill with Anthony Johnson and Fred Jones leaving.

Los Angeles - gets a hardworking and tough defender who is out to prove something this year. I'm sure Phil Jackson would love to have a kind of player like this on his team, kind of like a Dennis Rodman type. The only problem is if he can Kobe can co-exist together on the same team. They also get a solid backup in Anthony Johnson, and a pretty good power forward in Kenny Thomas, who can score inside and has a nice shot from around 12 - 16 feet.

Sacramento - solves some of the rebounding problems, and Odom could start at the power forward postion, or switch over to small forward. He is a triple double threat, and is an excellent passer. This could let Mike Bibby get more shots since he would not have to be handling the ball every possession. Also, Odom will flourish in the run and gun style of Sacramento. Seeing as with the departure of Cuttino Mobely, the Kings are left with a hole at the shooting guard position, which could be the chance for Fred Jones' coming out party. Fred Jones is also an expiring contract, and could free up some cap space.

That trade is alright. Our SL would be Bibby-Bonzi/Garcia/Martin-Bonzi/Garcia-Odom-Miller with a Bench of Garcia/Martin-Williamson-Skinner-Hart- and more. But I think we should try and get more for Peja. A better PF for Peja. I'm not sure who yet. But, I think Odom wont fit well.

I say keep Peja, what about Corliss and Kenny for Aaron Williams, Alvin Williams, and Chris Bosh??
Works for me, I think Bosh will be a big part of the future of the NBA.

Right now, if that trade were to happen, we would be losing 3.3 ppg, gaining0.3 rpg and losing 0.3 apg.

But in a few years when Bosh develops to his full potential... it could be a very good trade.

No way in hell Bosh would go. Especially for a deal like that. As for Troy Murphy, he could help. He is a great rebounder. I want the Kings to get Steven Hunter too. He helps alot I bet.

It is a bad trade. But Peja isn't a one legged shooter. A Ron Artest for Peja and something is more fair. But its not happening

NO! It would never happen. You think we could get young stars like Bosh or Jefferson. Never will happen. A better deal would be for a more expirienced PF.
