<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Even as rookies, forward Luol Deng and guard Chris Duhon were among the most consistent Bulls players last season, but the uncertainty about the two Duke products this summer has mirrored that of the team as a whole.

While Deng continues to progress slowly from right wrist surgery he underwent three months ago, Duhon waits for an offer sheet from another team, a move that would enable the Bulls to sign other free agents.

Bulls general manager John Paxson said he is prepared to match any bid for Duhon, money that will then be subtracted from the Bulls' mid-level exception. At that point, the Bulls will know the amount they have available to add someone at the mid-level exception such as forward Tom Gugliotta, the free agent most likely to sign with the team.

Orlando, New Jersey and Portland had expressed interest in Duhon, only to head in different directions in recent days.

The Magic came to terms with Keyon Dooling, the Nets reached an agreement with Jeff McInnis and the Trail Blazers did the same with Juan Dixon. The deals are expected to become official after the collective bargaining agreement is completed, most likely Tuesday.</div>

Not every rookie is going to be great his first season, give duhon some time with his shot. I dont see how you dont like duhon he gives it his all in every game and is a great defender and that all skiles wanted from him last season.

That post is pretty ignorant. He may have had a bad filed goal percentage, but he shot less than 500 times in a starting role this season. To put that in perspective for you he attempted less than six shot attempts a game. You completely ignored the act he was ranked seventh in the league in assists to turnover ratio, and lead all rookies in assists. He was the perfect point guard to run a mistake free offense for us. He struggled a little in the playoffs however as a rookie who didn?t? In my opinion he was the most underrated part of our run last season, and we do need him. Not as much as Curry and Chandler, but should you say ?let him go? and ?I don?t like him? those are comments made without fully taking into account what he did for our team.
