<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Mr.Wade:</div><div class="quote_post">This is truly a weird trade. I mean, the Heat give up Doleac and recieve Walker?? He will flourish in Miami's system, and get a lot of open 3s which is what he likes. Plus, with Shaq there, he won't be taking any stupid shots..</div>

That's about all someone can ask of him. Feed the ball, hit the boards (where he is tremendously underrated), and shoot some open threes. He would be quite good, and Haslem makes a great defensive stopper when it counts.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Ignignot:</div><div class="quote_post">Dead right, and I apologize for getting a little hasty there. I guess you can take the tiger outta the jungle, and you know the rest. Although, I do have to forgive Ricky his tirade with Blount, if I was there in Waltham, even to clean towels, I'd want that guy off my team. But other than that, I guess I have to say, I honestly forgot about those. Ricky has been notably better though, I think we can agree on that, and certainly nothing on a national stage, nothing that would attract the attention of a sports writing following. Nevertheless, I concede that point. And let's be honest, at least JWill doesn't turn the ball over ten times a game anymore, so that's about all I would ask out of him. But Doleac? No way, no how.</div>

I will give a pass for Davis going after Blount. We both should start up a thread stating, "Who believes Mark Blount should be on the first thing smoking out of Boston." Blount has been a fraud since he got his contract. Jwill has become a decent point guard who can jump start a team with his fast breaking abilities. I do want to go on record as saying I would prefer Jwill over Doleac any day of the week. So if you are going to make a trade then let it be for Jason.

Agreed, but it's fun to talk trade. Especially when it affects your team this much.

And I have to say, even if we did just get Doleac, at least that's an awful lot less of a cap hit than Walker. Although I think we can all agree he's not coming back anyway.

This is the latest info on Antoine Walker

According to the Miami Herald, the Heat are close to landing Antoine Walker in a sign-and-trade deal. With the Celtics not wanting to take on much salary in return, the Heat might not be giving up much more than its $1.9 million trade exception, a minimal-salary player and draft picks. Or a third team could be involved. Walker's deal is believed to begin at about $6 million to $7 million.

Basically we arent going to get jack. Then it goes on to state that Jwill along with James Posey are going to Miami in a trade for Eddie Jones.

I told you. Here comes Michael Doleac.

Well, being a fan of both teams, I am happy for Miami, but it sucks for the C's. Doleac is terrible and isn't good enough for the NBDL.
