In a very intense and intriguing interview with Stephen A. Smith, Allen Iverson talked about and cleared up many things that ultimately lead to how people view him today. He talks about basketball, his personal life, the practice incident (everyone remembers that), and the controversy that's been surrounding him for his entire career, hecks even talks about the Kobe incident. Now while this is 76ers related, I understand that NBA fans in general have an interest for Allen Iverson, it may not always be basketball related it may be where he stands as person AND basketball player, but for whatever interest you have in him, I'd highly recommended you watch this interview. Some call him a thug; others call him a role model. Well whatever way you seem him, this interview might change you?re whole perspective of him. Now you're wondering where you can catch the interview well... You can catch it on ESPN2. It was originally telecasted on ESPN2 Wednesday July 27th, but for the last couple days it's been coming on over and over on ESPN2. It will come on again one final time before they show the new episode tomorrow night. So if you're interested you can catch the interview later tonight at 6:30 PM EST on ESPN2. And as a footnote, you may very well like the way Stephen A. Smith conducted this interview. Many people look at him as a rude and loud journalist, but just the way he conducted this interview you will know why he now has his own show.
Thanks for the information on this Avery. I heard he starts to cry and it is pretty revealing. I will be sure to watch it tonight.
It was a good interview, he said that there's a lot of guys who play with tremendous heart like T Mac, Shaq and VC. It was also great when he said that if he never wins a championship that that would be ok, he wants to be remembered as a warrior and one of the hardest players ever to play.
I was surprised to see AI shed a tear or two when watching and listening to what Larry Brown had to say about him. Did AI cry because he misses Larry Brown, or was Larry Brown the best chance he ever and will have for the NBA championship? Stephen A. Smith has a good show on his hands. I think it will be very successful.
An ESPN Interview show causing players to cry, somewhere Roy Firestone has to be proud. I'll give Screaming A. Smith a chance, since most of you are endorsing the show. Thanks for the heads up.
I watched this show late last night, I think 1130. So it gets run repeatedly, just so you all know. I also felt it was a very personal show, the way it was set up, and the way Smith was given free rein by AI to ask ANYTHING. Smith, I think will bring out sides of players that nobody else can really bring out in an interview.
It seems that's there a little problem. The new episode wasn't meant to be shown till tomorrow night and it seems as if it's being aired as I type up this post. Sorry guys. I was 100% sure they were going to aire the A.I interview but apparently that's not the case. I'm sure they will show it again sometime down the line. Again, sorry for those who were looking forward to watching it. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I was surprised to see AI shed a tear or two when watching and listening to what Larry Brown had to say about him. What Brown said about him meant so much to him thus that caused him to break down.
I saw a clip of the interview on Sportscentre and I was blown away... I sat in my chair in awe of Iverson breaking down. I feel it's a good thing, if he wants to cry, cry. Bottling it up even if it's on T.V is not healthy. Iverson was just getting all of his emotion out, from the media, from how Brown cared so much for Iverson and taught him so much, basically everything in his life IMO. Big ups to A.I and L.B...
yeah i like this show, It should be just basketball . By the way i liked that he was wearing the Pac shirt.Oh and i never understood why the whole practice thing was so serious, i never saw it b4 but i saw it when i was watching this show.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting handles25:</div><div class="quote_post">what practice thing?</div> When Iverson went on to cameras that he hated practice and why should he have to practice when he's leading the league in scoring.. after the '03-04 season I'm glad he came to his senses..
