<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Etching one trade in stone and working out the kinks on another is how the Grizzlies will spend what seems like an NBA holiday. With the league's new collective bargaining agreement finally completed, teams can complete free-agent signings and agreed-upon trades. A moratorium that lasted two weeks longer than expected will be lifted starting today at 11 a.m. CDT when there will be a flurry of activity. The Griz are expected to make official an agreed-upon deal sending Bonzi Wells to Sacramento. They still are feverishly attempting to trade Jason Williams in what could end up being a multiple-team transaction with Miami as the only known partner. League sources said the Grizzlies have discussed numerous scenarios and the particulars of those proposed deals have changed several times over the past two days. The Miami Herald reported that a Williams/James Posey-for-Eddie Jones swap has been contemplated. Although specifics have yet to be determined, sources indicated Monday that Williams is expected to land in Miami in each proposed scenario. A source close to Williams insisted that the Grizzlies want to secure a free-agent point guard before shipping Williams. The Griz have negotiated with Damon Stoudamire, who played with Portland last season. But no deal had been finalized as of late Monday. Last weekend, Stoudamire shot down a Houston Chronicle report that said he agreed to sign a four-year, $17 million deal with Memphis. Griz president Jerry West confirmed interest in Stoudamire, but cautioned that he was one of several options the team would consider as Williams's replacement. </div> Source
A good pickup for the bench, maybe even starting line if SVG is intrested in moving Wade to the 3-guard. Nevertheless, and with a possible signing of Walker, the Heat are guaranteed a very bright season ahead of them.
This is a great deal for the Heat IMO. They'll get a good point guard and a legit small forward. If they get Walker also, they addressed pretty much all of their needs for this offseason. I don't see anyone stopping them, in the East at least.
I wont believe the Griz/Heat trade until its final. I just dont see West making that deal without demanding another player or pick.
This is a solid trade for the Heat. The Soft Parade, who do you think would start at the 2 if Wade was moved to the 3? This is obvious that Jwill will be at the 1, Wade 2, and they'll probably get Walker at the 3.

J Will and Wade in the backcourt and either Posey or Walker at the 3.
Wade at the is ridiculous will star there because of the defense he gives us. Walker will be the starting 4 or the 6 man.
all the details(probably posted, so here's a link) http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2122976
i cant wait to see the heat highlights.. I can see it now Jwill behind the back..to Wade what a dunk! J-will from halfcourt to Wade ALLEYOOOOOOP!
I agree I think Posey will definitely be starting at the 3 and they'll possibly slide Walker into the starting 4 spot, putting Haslem on the bench as 6th man.Walker starting just depends on how many 3's he decides he needs to shoot.
