they actually do aquire PF Antoine Walker, SF James Posey, and PG Jason Williams in that rumored 3 team trade between the Heat, the Grizzlies, and the Celtics?? Their Roster For the 2005/2006 Season (Assuming No Other Offseason Moves Are Made) Would Look Something Like This..... Starting 5 (This would be my starting 5, but probably not the Heat's starters): C: Shaquille O'Neal PF: Antione Walker SF: James Posey SG: Dwayne Wade PG: Jason Williams Back Up 5: C: Alonzo Mourning PF: Udonis Haslem SF: Dorell Wright SG: Shandon Anderson PG: Damon Jones That is a scary lineup for other teams in the Eastern Conference!! How many wins do you think the Heat can stack up with a lineup looking like that?? 50, 55, 60, 65, even 70 wins?!?!? Do you think they will be the favorites to win the title next season as well??
First of all dude, your sig is too big... Secondly, I think the Heat will be one of the favourites to win, if not THE favs to win the East with a lineup of what I think will be starting: Shaq Haslem Posey Wade Williams Walker will be the spark plug off the bench, because his defense is still sub par. I predict the 2nd line to be: PG- ?? SG-Rasual SF-Dorell PF-Walker C-Mourning
I believe the Heat will have the best record in the league during the regular season and make it all the way to the Finals before they lose to the Spurs. The Spurs will be a better defensive team (the best in the league) but still put up good scoring numbers, they are the best coached team in the league and have much more depth than the Heat.
That would be a crazy lineup but it still doesnt mean they will get a ring for sure but have a great chance. wow and this is a east team.
1. This is actually a 5-team deal, not 3. 2. This thread belongs in the Miami forum. 3. Miami won 59 games last season and I expect them to only improve and win 60-65 games next season. 70 would be a long shot. Anything under 60 would be a disappointment in my eyes.
Let's leave the moderating to the moderators and keep discussions on topic. This thread is fine here because the author was looking for general, unbiased opinions of Miami's lineup.
Miami will be the favorite for the title next season. I'm glad this trade went through. I'm all the more exited to get next season started. As for the lineup, I think we should start Haslem at the Power Forward and bring Walker off the bench to add a spark. I think he would try to shoulder to much if we started him. he would take to many shots and get his "I'm the number one option" mindset. It will be an adjustment for him to be the third or fourth option on offense. This will also give us more depth in our frontcourt. Walker could also play some Small Forward.

Omg..they are just too strong.. imo my lineup: PG:Williams SG:Wade SF:Walker PF:Haslem C:O'neal Best lineup and good bench..nearest rivals are SAS and Indiana?
I think it's a very good line-up "BUT" i think it's just to many stars that want the ball, i think it's going to be hard for SVG to organize the team. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Too man ego's</div> I agree

I think that with Walker off the bench he won't be taking to many crazy shots, and Williams will know not to do anyhting stupid with Wade and Shaq around. The arguement about the egos is a valid one though.
