<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheTruth5:</div><div class="quote_post">But any ways...I understand that having a vocal leader set good examples on the court helps, but what im saying is just because we dont have 1 doesnt automaticly mean were not going to make the playoffs.</div> True but having someone thats a vet and can lead will make our chances better...that all im sayin
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting celtsfan2589:</div><div class="quote_post">what the big deal if we dont have a leader on the court? is that serious? someone to keep it unde controll not take crazy shots help the youg kids run the offense....those are allll reasons we need a leader on the court....pierce in my opinion is a top 10 shooting gaurd in the nba but i dont think he has good leadership skills and i dont think he sets good examples.....we need that</div> Isn't Walker known for taking crazy shots? So as 44thrilla stated Walker is a hypocrite.

Trading Walker did not downgrade our roster. If anything it improves the chances that we will, as 44Thrilla put it, share the ball for 48 minutes every game. Walker can *talk* about playing team ball all he wants, but having watched him for what seems like forever I just don't expect him to actually play it with enough consistency to suit me. It would be no surprise if New Jersey won the division this year, but let's not forget that we won it last year with Mark Blount averaging 26 minutes a game for us. Mark Blount, people! He is *not* going to play anywhere near that many minutes next season, so we should be better right there. Throw in the fact that the "B Unit" guys now have some playoff experience and I'd say we can't be written off even if we're not the favorites. Next season is going to be a lot of fun, I'm quite sure of that.
How will the celtics do? all depends on Pierce pretty much. Im looking forward to whatching the kids grow too but in the end the team will go as far as Pierce will take them again.
