Calvin Andrews, Rush's California-based agent said his client's first priority was the Bobcats although Andrews also spoke with the Denver Nuggets and New Jersey Nets .

Rush started for the Bobcats last season before injuring his knee and missing the last month of the season. The Bobcats acquired him in a mid-season trade with the Los Angeles Lakers.</div>

yeah, good job. i still remember that one playoff game with the lakers when kareem got on fire and hit 3 after 3 in the fourth, and ended up with 19 points. i also remember that time in the regular season when he scored 30 points. me and my friends made up this saying,"if kareem gets on fire, you'd better take cover."

Acutaly I'm pretty sure it was 18 points, cause he was 6 for 6 from 3 point. I have a clip of it on my computer.

For some reason, I can feel a Rush breakout year coming sometime soon. Maybe this year. I really like the Bobcat's roster this year and it's only gonna get better.

    PG - Felton/Knight
    SG- Rush/Kapono
    SF- Wallace/Bogans/Slay
    PF- Okafor/May/Ely
    C - Brezec/May/Voshkul

I like Rush, but not as a starter. Somebody has got to teach this kid to play some damn defense though...

I can definitely see that lineup being playoff quality in another 2 years. As of right now, they are most certainly headed in the right direction, and they'll be fun to watch grow.

I do like the signing of Rush, but like our resident expert said, a starting role probably means this team is a year or so off. A solid starting two without injury problems would have this team making a name for itself this year. I'm not talking playoffs or anything near to being greater than that, but I can see them winning soon.

It really depends on the growth of the youngsters I suppose, but of those young'uns in the starting lineup, I don't see any of them being huge busts the way I see some drafted this year. Okafor's the real deal too, so that's a darn good thing.

Aside from that, you can definitely nail down at least one team in their division getting worse in the next two years, so that just leaves no place to go for them but up.
