<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheTruth5:</div><div class="quote_post">I was talkin bout age in the scence of how many years in the NBA</div> watsons been in the leauge for 4 jaric 3....so wrong again
It seems to me that there's only one to resolve this one...Change the subject! Anyone else out there in FA land that someone would want on this team? I can think of plenty I wouldn't want here, and Jaric is definitely one, but anyone else have any opinions of who should or shouldn't be on there? Honestly, I'd happily take Damon Jones on this roster. He seems like the kind of guy who can run and shoot. While his defense may be somewhat suspect, the man has enough in the way of uptempo ability. It would just be nice to have another like him. With all the sleeper potential of Gerald Wallace, it's hard to say no to him, but there's just no roster spot he could take. And finally, why not pick up Flip or Reggie Evans from the Sonics and do some running with Flip, or augment our sloppy rebounding with Reggie. Everyone knows that defensive rebounds lead to fast break points, and Reggie is a monster on the boards. By the way, Jaric and Watson are both 26.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheTruth5:</div><div class="quote_post">playoff experience lol..he watched from the bench and got swept. Not a fun experience.</div> So playing 18.5 mintues is sitting on the bench the whole game? It doesn't matter if its fun its experience.
[quote name='By the way, Jaric and Watson are both 26.[/QUOTE'] no...haha not to argue with you cuz we went at it with solid points last night but... watson 1979 jaric - 1978

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheTruth5:</div><div class="quote_post">THATS WHAT I SAID</div> thats good though that means watson has another whooooooole year more under his belt....watson also was a backup to payton and who better to learn better then payton when he was puttin up his 20 poit 8 assists years... bottom line is... watson - better d fast similar numbers in less time playoff expirience leader jaric - NONE OF THE ABOVE
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Ignignot:</div><div class="quote_post">Honestly, I'd happily take Damon Jones on this roster. He seems like the kind of guy who can run and shoot.</div> Finally a different topic..lol I still wouldnt mind having him but, me watching every Heat game last season I love Damon Jones and hes no doubt one of the best three point shooters in the game. But I have also noticed some downsides to his game.. The guy is an amazing 3 point shooter but has trouble creating his own shot, sort of like a PG Lafrentz lol. Also if you stop his 3 point shot which hell only get off a pick or wide open, then theres not another attribute he can come at you with. And also im not so sure if hes uptempo, i remember with the heat he would take it up court slowly (kicking his legs up lol) then just throw a pass to Shaq Down low. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">why not pick up Flip or Reggie Evans from the Sonics and do some running with Flip, or augment our sloppy rebounding with Reggie. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheTruth5:</div><div class="quote_post">The guy is an amazing 3 point shooter but has trouble creating his own shot, sort of like a PG Lafrentz lol.</div> What a travesty that would be. I can just see it now. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting celtsfan2589:</div><div class="quote_post">Watson - June 12 1979 Jaric - October 12 1978</div> Those dates make them both 26. Jaric hasn't had a birthday yet this year. Nevertheless, both 26.
Raef LaFrentz a goner? <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Kevin Davidson/RealGM - While the Miami Heat will be playing for an NBA title in 05-06, the Boston Celtics are currently in line for an NCAA championship. After this latest deal by Danny Ainge, there is not a single player on the Celtics roster in his 30?s. The ?crafty veterans? have only been around since the 98-99 season in the forms of Raef LaFrentz and Paul Pierce. With 16 players now under contract for 05-06, it seems that at least one more move is necessary. Several things could happen, including cutting Raef LaFrentz. The Boston Celtics were given an early Christmas present when the new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) implemented the ?Allen Houston? rule. The rule, also referred to as the ?amnesty clause? is a one-time exception that allows every team in the league to release one player. They have until Aug. 15 to do so, to avoid paying any further luxury tax on the player's contract.</div> RealGM
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting MrJ:</div><div class="quote_post">Raef LaFrentz a goner? RealGM</div> Let us not ever cite this article again. We've decided it's stupid, it's a lie, and the C's brass would have to be pretty backwards to want to pay for a guy to play on another team, while they aren't even over the cap into luxury tax territory.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting MrJ:</div><div class="quote_post">I didn't look at the other article when I posted it. My bad.</div> No problem, just that if you read the rest of the article, it seems to get even sillier. I didn't mean to be quite so insistent, it was actually rather an interesting perspective until you get into the numbers. I would love to unload Blount's contract, which they elaborate on later, but Raef has no reason to go yet, and he won't.
