From ESPN INsider <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Sonics to meet with Radmanovic Aug 3 - The Sonics are offering Vladimir Radmanovic a six-year deal that, with incentives, could be worth as much as $42 million, the News-Tribune reports. The restricted free agent and his agent, David Bauman, flew to Seattle to meet with Sonics owner Howard Schultz, CEO Wally Walker and general manager Rick Sund and negotiations will continue today. Radmanovic still wants more and might wind up signing a one-year tender offer worth $3.2 million that will allow him to become an unrestricted free agent next season. Radmanovic has until Sept. 15 to sign the one-year tender.</div> hmmm
I knew they were meeting with Vlad, but that deal seems pretty hefty. I would hope that it would be a base salary of around 35 mill, and then incentives like averaging 15ppg, making the playoffs, winning any award like 6th man etc which would make up the remaining money there. Things that are attainable, but not easily so.
I just read that more closely and read that he wants more. Ridiculous, makes it almost impossible to sign & trade because no one else is going to pay that.

Bobby had better #'s, but have fun convincing Vladi and his agent he's worth more/is a better player. Does anyone know who would have the space available next offseason to sign him anyways???
I have a feeling next year's free agent crop is a weak one (sort of like when Sweet Lew was last a FA), which may mean teams save their money for the next offseason when there will be big names.
