I forgot about the salaries, in that case yeah, we should just try to sign him. He isnt worth that much money. And we sure dont have that money to throw around. It would have been nice to just trade for him so we can get rid of christies contract. I hope we can get evans though, i think he would fit in nicely on this team.

For those of you who aren't familar with Evans, he was the starting center in Seattle last season and he is an amazing rebounder.

Ranks #12 in the NBA in Rebounds Per Game(9.3)
Ranks #9 in the NBA in Offensive Rebounds(254.0)
Ranks #9 in the NBA in Offensive Rebounds Per Game(3.2)
Ranks #19 in the NBA in Defensive Rebounds(482.0)
Ranks #18 in the NBA in Defensive Rebounds Per Game(6.1)
Ranks #14 in the NBA in Total Rebounds(736.0)
Ranks #2 in the NBA in Offensive Rebounds Per 48 Minutes(6.5)
Ranks #3 in the NBA in Defensive Rebounds Per 48 Minutes(12.3)
Ranks #1 in the NBA in Rebounds Per 48 Minutes(18.8)

Considering he only plays 24 minutes per game, he puts up huge numbers. If we could sign him, he could really help Dwight Howard in the paint.

Thanks for the stats Swish, don't know how to put it, but I thought he was more of a forward and Jerome James, listed with 7-1 compared to Evans 6-8, was their starting C even though he only played like 16 minutes per game. I don't know Seattle that well, though.

3 years experience also, young good back-up could we try and trade Kato to them since they lost there center maybe Dougy being added if waiving him isnt done before hand.

Thanks Swish for the stats i like the bold ones. [IMG]

I doubt seattle wants christie, i know christie wouldnt mind going there. Evans is the only player left that could really help us out. Plus he doesnt need touches on offense. We need to petition the front office to get him.

Oh you are probably right. That might be even better since we were considering moving Dwight to center.
