Eddie Jones, the team player, the captain, the three point shooter. EJ loved the Heat, for the teams sake he accepted the role of the third option. EJ was solid as a Heat Player and before Shaq and Wade came along EJ was the vet, EJ was the man. Stats for 00-01: 17 points, 4 rebounds Stats for 01-02: 18 points, 4 rebounds and he didnt miss one game. Stats for 02-03: 18 points, 5 rebounds Stats for 03-04: 17 points, 4 rebounds and he didnt miss one game. Stats for 04-05: 13 points, 5 rebounds Whenever we needed a big three, Eddie was the man to shoot it. When we didnt have Wade or Shaq, EJ was the leading man, the Vet. I agree about retiring his jersey. He had a big impact even wihtout winning a championship and proved that ye could be a leader. Thank you Eddie for your outstanding play as a member of the HEat.
