James Posey is the SF we aquired in the deal for Toine and JWill. Posey is a very good defender and gives Miami athleticism and another player who can play above the rim. I would like to see Posey start and give Miami a defensive stopped who will guard guys like VC, Pierce, JJ, and other great offensive players in the East.
Ya Definitely im really happy to have Posey, if he stays healthy he can help us out tremendously especially on D.
I'm more happy about acquiring him than Toine and J-Will. It makes the most sense for us to start him because he's a very good defensive player that can score, and he's the only real SF we got. So it's basically a given that he'll start unless SVG does something wacky like start Toine at the 3. I don't know what West was thinking giving up Posey, Jason Williams, Burks and Snyder for EJ.

but with toine at the 3 they would be a much better rebounding team aswell as a stronger threat in the post this would free J-Will And D-Wade for open j's.plus even though posey may be a better man on D the height advantage that antoine will have would be priceless against offensive SF's.I think he is capable of guarding a three. And as a indiana fan ive learnt not to belive in players reporting that they are healthy i'll belive it when i see it. ps people are forgeting that Andre Emmet was also included in this deal.
I'm very excited about the addition of Posey. He brings a perimeter shot with his shut down defense and I think he can adjust as a role player here in Miami. I really like James and I think he is an excellent fit for this team.
