<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Raja Bell has been in the Suns plans for a month. But suddenly the 6-foot-5 guard takes on a larger role with the departure of Quentin Richardson and the impending departure of Joe Johnson. Bell, introduced to the Valley media on Wednesday after the free agent signed a five-year deal worth a little under $24 million, will be asked to do what Richardson and Johnson brought to the Suns last season when they won 62 games. Johnson will shoot the three, which he did with 40 percent accuracy with the Utah Jazz last season; and defend, which has the utmost respect of San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili. Ginobili and Bell have the same agent, Herb Rudoy, who said Ginobili told him that Bell plays "with a lot of heart." "You're lucky. You'll see," Rudoy said. The Suns feel they've gotten defensively tougher with the addition of forward Kurt Thomas and Bell, who had the Suns at the top of his list of teams he wanted to play for after becoming a free agent because of its style of play and a chance to play for a championship team.</div> AZ Central
Raja is a great pick up and he will get plenty of minutes here in Phoenix, i really want to see what this kid can do.
Wouldn't it be great if Bell and Thompson would be able to adequately replace JJ and Q. I know, it's just me wishing, but that would be great.
