Hey, it's only some of the Heat fans. Some of us are fans of Wade (like me) and other fans worship Wade.

[IMG] He is a remarkable talent, but some of his fans are annoying (not saying anyone here is).

LOL I loved Wade his rookie year, But once we got Shaq there were so many heat bandwagoners here in Miami with their shaq and wade jerseys just because we got shaq and were doing good. [IMG]

toronto had to take bosh, they needed a big man and he has been proving he was the best one, and melo had a better rookie season than wade and i bet if wade didnt have shaq he wouldnt of been as good, he would of been like a allstar but not as good as he is if that makes sence

yeah, at high school that i'll be going to, the coach said that a player isnt a good player until they finally make someone better, and thats what shaq did for dwyane. i hadnt even heard of him before shaq went there. now hes one of my favorites. so i dont think DWade should have been #2. he wasnt very good (in my opinion) until last season.

You didn't know about Wade until his sophmore year? Wade was good his rookie season. He took the Heat to the conference semi's. He also hit a gamewinner in the 1st round game 1 against the Hornets.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting phiLA:</div><div class="quote_post">are you serious? i like wade and i think he is a great player, but you would rather have him than lebron? i wouldnt. i would take lebron over wade any day. after all, he is the next mj, and he is much younger. [IMG]</div>

I agree..however, this has to be set straight from now on. Bronbron will NEVER be the next MJ. Kobe was never the next MJ. D-Wade won't be the next. Iverson was never the next Isaiah. Shaq was never the modern Wilt.

We can say LeBron will be the next great player, but that's where it ends. Lebron didn't come out of college, average 30 as a rookie, or drop 69. Shaq never led the league in assists, or play every minute of every game for a season. You see where I'm going with this? Lebron has a different game than MJ, they're comparable, don't get me wrong, but nobody is going to do the exact same thing Jordan did, the same way nobody will do the same thing Moochie Norris has done.

At the time, Det didn't need another scorer in Melo. They already had Rip as a budding star and Chauncey. I think they would've done better had they chosen Bosh instead of Darko, they would've had better instant results and long term at the same time.

He averaged 16/4/4 as a rookie, and then lead the Heat into the second round of the playoffs almost upsetting the #1 seeded Pacers. If you didn't even know Wade's name until this season, I'm pretty sure you are a bandwagon Heat fan.

I agree with you there. The Heat bandwagon is in full effect now. Two years ago it was Detroit Jerseys and Laker Jerseys everywhere. Now its Heat jerseys everywhere in the mall... Stay LOYAL!

Please. Put Carmelo Anthony or Chris Bosh next to Shaquille O'Neal and the end result won't be too different, The Heat would have still likely reached The Eastern Conference Finals. You can't even compare their statistics because their situations are night and day. Chris Bosh plays alongside Donyell Marshall and that's about it, not that impressive. Carmelo Anthony has Kenyon Martin and Andre Miller, but that's certainly not Shaquille O'Neal. Also, neither of the aforementioned teams even had half as good of role players as The Miami Heat did last season. None the less Carmelo Anthony alongside Shaquille O'Neal would be just as sucessful. Chris Bosh is a Power Foward so that situation is a little bit different, but if they had a decent backcourt I'm sure they'd be just as successful as Wade too. End of Story.
