<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Chicago Tribune - The Milwaukee Bucks re-signed forward Toni Kukoc to a one-year contract on Friday. Kukoc played the last three of his 12 NBA seasons with Milwaukee, where he's averaged 8.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 189 regular-season games. The Tribune reported last month that there was a chance the Bulls might decide to bring Kukoc back. Kukoc has averaged 12.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 781 regular-season games. He's played in 96 playoff games and won three championships with the Bulls in the 1990s. The Bulls drafted him in the second round in 1990. Kukoc also has played with Philadelphia and Atlanta. "I've always had a tremendous amount of respect and admiration for the way Toni plays the game," Bucks coach Terry Stotts said in a written statement. "In addition to his solid, veteran presence on the floor, Toni's knowledge and experience will be an invaluable asset to the younger players on our roster."</div> Source
I like Kukoc he is a solid player, and one year deal is fine I just hope the Bucks didn't give a lot of money.
I think this was an excellent move for the Bucks, Kukoc is definitely a skilled and smart veteran who can give advice to their young players. He seems like a classy guy too staying loyal to the Bucks.
Great news! I like Toni, he can play different positions and we need some vets on our young team. Him and Mason coming off the bench is a good duo cuz Toni is a great long range shooter and passer and Mase is such a good defender and energy guy. I was hoping we'd keep old Toni.
Very good move. Toni has proven to be a guy who is a good complimentary guy his whole career; put him alongside some talented players, and he makes them even better, whether it's by taking scoring pressure off a star, creating opportunities for others, whatever. We've got a young team, and keeping a good veteran like Kukoc is a smart move. I'm liking the looks of our bench this year; we're going to have solid depth at every spot.
