Sounds great! He has not even played a regular season game yet and he is doing a basketball camp for little kids.
Seems like a very good guy, and I knew he was going to bring a great attitude into Training camp and opening day. He can bring the enthusiam we haven't had since Oakley, and some vocal leadership. I really like it. Whenever he breaks out of his Rookie mould or after his rookie season, he's gonna be a scary man for other teams.
^ In what aspect? Lack of craziness, because as a player, I don't know about that. It's good he's having a camp, it seems like it's the thing for rookies nowadays, their was another rookie this year that had one.

He does have all the tools to be better than Artest though.
If Joey can become as talented as Artest...WOW...wut did Artest avergae in "7" games this year 24pts 7rebs and 6ast.
One advantage that Joey is going to have coming in the NBA, is that he'll be very durable. He's a strong guy and likes to hit the weights, and I don't think he'll get injured very often. Graham has the potential to be a Artest type players, but he's still raw in some aspects. He needs to work on his guard skills (dribbling, creating his own shot) to become a star in the NBA.

What he might not have though is the same toughness, and willingness and intensity on defense, not many players have that, even those who are also good defenders. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">If Joey can become as talented as Artest...WOW...wut did Artest avergae in "7" games this year 24pts 7rebs and 6ast</div> The key thing there is 7 games, many players start out hot when the season starts. Artest would've very very likely gone back down to about 19 PPG, 5 RPG, 4 APG, not that that's bad considering how good he is defensively.

I mean we're talking about the same guy that knocked down his man on a backdoor entry pass and powered his way to dunk the ball over another defender without even giving it a second thought. That's on offense, but his defense is no different. He played under Eddie Sutton, who is known for his defense-first approach to the game. I even think that Graham was under-utilized because of this, and his experience playing the 1, 2, 3 and the 4 throughout his highschool / college career should only help him on both ends of the court.
I love that Joey Graham has such a positive attitude. He also seems to respect the veterans and looks for to bringing leadership aspects in the future. It seems that Graham was a solid pick at 16. I can't wait to seem his energy and athletiscism.
Nice guy, He seems to like it up thier in Toronto. Hopefully he can help the raptors. He's a smart guy saying the Heat are going to have a good season.
