Since we are most likely not going to add more free agents, what do you think the starting lineups will look like? I'm hoping Jackson can come here and be a starter eventually.

    Opening night:

    PG - Rafer Alston
    SG - Morris Peterson
    SF - Jalen Rose
    PF - Chris Bosh
    C - Rafael Araujo

    Eventually:

    PG - Jose Calderon
    SG - Jalen Rose
    SF - Joey Graham
    PF - Charlie Villanueva
    C - Chris Bosh

Hopefully CV3 can put on some muscle and be effective as a Center instead of putting Bosh at the 5.

    Opening Night:

    C: Rafael Araujo
    PF: Chris Bosh
    SF: Jalen Rose
    SG: Morris Peterson
    PG: Rafer Alston

    Before Christmas:

    C: Rafael Araujo
    PF: Chris Bosh
    SF: Joey Graham
    SG: Morris Peterson
    PG: Rafer Alston

    After All-Star Break:

C: Rafael Araujo / Charlie Villanueva
    PF: Chris Bosh
    SF: Joey Graham
    SG: Morris Peterson
PG: Rafer Alston / Jose Calderon

Villanueva weighed more prior to the draft, and I wouldn't doubt it if he put on another 10 lbs before the training camp. That puts him at about 245 - 250 lbs and that's better than Bosh's projected 240 lbs.

Yea, that's what I believe it would be. Maybe Alston might end the year as the PG, but so much can happen between now and then.

The PF-C doesn't really matter to me in terms of who's starting at C between CV and Bosh because they will guard whoevers the best match for them at the 4 and 5.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I'm hoping Jackson can come here and be a starter eventually.</div>

Hopefully when Rose is gone because if you see Jackson starting at the end of the year (without injuries to the roster), then that likely means Rose is on the decline.

Yea, plus his frame is bigger, which makes it easier for him to make the transistion to C than Bosh.

Bosh is 240? I know he put on muscle this summer, but I heard he was 235 at the most. I hope he doesn't lose some of the quickness to his great first step.

Well he was listed at 235 lbs last season, and looking at the pictures from Nash's charity game, he certainly looks like he's around 240 lbs. Maybe it's just the hair.. who knows [IMG] But yea, Bosh didn't lose any of the quickness or his first step if what people who were at the game are saying are true.

EDIT: According to some people who went to the game, Bosh can do a windmill now. [IMG]

Bosh is definatly looking bigger, you can clearly see it that every off season he gets at least 10 lbs bigger. Plus he grew some hair!

    Start of the season:

    PG-Rafer Alston
    SG-Morris Peterson
    SF-Jalen Rose
    PF-Chris Bosh
    C-Rafael Arajuo

    Before Christmas

    PG-Rafer Alston
    SG-Morris Peterson
    SF-Jalen Rose
    PF-Chris Bosh
    C-Rafael Arajuo

    After All-star break

    PG-Jose Juan Barea
    SG- Morris Peterson
    SF- Jalen Rose
    PF- Chris Bosh
    C- Charlie Villanueva

It also depends on how the Raptors do you know. If they'rea lready out of playoff contention before the allstar break, look to see them start their young guys instead of Rose, Alston Mo pete, etc.

Hey at least it wasn't SO BAD. Jose Juan Barea is a really good college basketball player at North Eastern, at least it's not some sort of make up name.

Aw man, I'm gonna get toasted. [IMG] [IMG]

I thought he already could? I remember him trying one on that Raptors open practice thing on TV, he missed, but he didn't put much effort into it. I can almost do a windmill on a regulation net, and I'm 5'11, I can do one with a smaller ball, so I wouldn't be surprised.

    Opening night:

    PG - Rafer Alston
    SG - Morris Peterson
    SF - Jalen Rose

    C - Rafael Araujo

    All-Star Break

    PG - Rafer Alston
    SG - Jalen Rose
    SF - Morris Peterson
    PF/C - Chris Bosh
    PF/C - Charlie Villanueva

    We'll play center by comittee....

End of season when playoffs don't look so hopeful:

    PG - Rafer Alston
    SG - Jalen Rose
    SF - Joey Graham
    PF/C - Chris Bosh
    PF/C - Charlie Villanueva

Apparently, he bounced it off the backboard and did a windmill.

    New York, NY
    PG: Rafer Alston
    SG: Jalen Rose
    SF: Morris Peterson
    PF: Chris Bosh
    C: Charlie Villanueva

I expect that lineup to be pretty consistent all throughout the year.
