Honestly, I don't know really know anything about this guy. I've heard his names mentioned a few times and seen a clip or two, but I didn't bother to go in depth on him. From the clips I have seen though, he looks very athletic and explosive. I just pulled up some stats and reads on him, and he has a wingspan of 7'1 and he's only 6'5.5" ish which can't be bad at all. Marquis Daniels V2? (undrafted rookie signed by the Mavs and making an impact)

He can definetly be the Marquis Daniels version 2. I thought he was overlooked by all the teams in the draft and wasn't even given a chance. I like how the Mavs have done their research and given him a chance. He can definetly be an impact player, as he had very nice numbers in college and has all the tools to be a good player.

The mavs are one of the smartest teams when it comes to drafting late and picking up free agents who ended up unsigned. This guy must have some promise if we decided to pick him up. If he has a good work eithic i think he could be a solid player

It sounds like this guy can be another Marquis-like player. Hopefully he can be another impact player down the strech.

I saw him play at the Assembly Hall when the Illini crushed his team, he was the only person who could do anything. He had some good steals, it seemed like he had a long wingspan.

Other than that, I don't know much, but I do know his team was really really bad and they made the NCAA tournament because they made a huge run to win the conference tournament.

if he is a V2 of Marquis Daniels, then that's another great acquisition done by the Mavs scouts. I really like Daniels' game.

Daniels didn't get a lot of playing time with Finley around. Other than that it seems like Johnson doesn't really like playing Daniels based on his style of play?? So why are they adding a second player of the same type?

I think they meant v2 of Daniels, as in an undrafted rookie signed by the Mavs and making an impact. They don't have similar playing styles at all. Rawle Marshall is a lanky player (think Reggie Miller), but is phenomal scorer and gets to the rim. Marquis Daniels is a better playmaker and has a better back to the basket offensive game.

I'm surprised Avery doesn't like the playing style of Daniels. He is efficient when he's on the court, and played through a lot of pain last year, with a bum ankle.
