I grew up on Rick Dees in Saudi, so it would have to be Top 40 type artists and other random stuff:

Babyface, Usher, Eric Prydz, Ryan Cabrera, Poison (old school 80's hairband), Bowling for Soup, Gin Blossoms

    1. Tupac
    2. Shyne
    3. Biggie
    4. The Game
    5. R. Kelly ( I don't care much for him as a person. However, he makes some of the best R&B songs I know)

Honorable mentions: Dre and Snoop, Dre and Eminem (Forgot about Dre), Kanye, T.I (as long as it's not "You don't Know Me")

I like Pac, but he never made one good album. He has so many good songs but I feel that not one of his albums were classics. There was too much filler on the albums. If you take his good songs, you could make a couple of classics. I like alot of the west coast rappers, Snoop Dogg(Doggystyle album), Warren G, etc.. etc..

I disagree, I think all of Pac's albums were good. Not all the songs are good, but overall you can listen to any of his albums over and over again. He does a good job of mixing up his style, and has one of the better voices and flows to ever bless a mic.

I also like Warren G. he's one of the more underrated rappers out there.

I listen to a wide variety of music but, hip hop and jazz are my two favorites. I don't like most of the mainstream hip hop out there, so I listen to underground artists and the early 90's hits.

I wouldn't say he had a complete album as none of them come close to The Chronic, 36 Chambers, Doggystyle, Illmatic, Reasonable Doubt or even Chronic 2001. I always feel he was too rushed, but who could blame him with his lifestyle?

What a coincidence! While trying to sort out my latest virus problems yesterday and the day before, I was listening to G-Funk Era: Regulate.

Definatley! Warren G is an underrated rapper/producer. The G-Funk Era album is a classic. The Chronic, Doggystyle and G-Funk Era:Regulate would make a prefect compilation. They are evidence on why G-Funk is so great. That early 90's G-Funk production brought to us be Dre and Warren is just so great.

The early 90's was the peak for rap music. There were so many classic albums coming out(mainly from the West, especially the Dre produced albums). Wu Tang clans 36 Chambers is a great album from the early 90's. With the superb production of RZA(the only person I would consider coming close to Dre in terms of production). He made the album. 36 Chambers is an album you can listen to without wanting the mainstream songs. The sound is so underground that it makes you listen to the whole album without skipping tracks. When I listen to this album, I never skip tracks. Tical, by Method Man is also good, again with the production of RZA.

I'm moving away from hip hop, it's virtually non-existant to me.

Staind is my favorite band. Their lyrics are pretty deep, most people can normally find some way or another to relate to them.

I like slower music now, I like some country. Especially Keith Urban, he can sing pretty damn good.

Seven Wiser, Edgewater, Seether, Fuel, Three Doors Down, and Creed (before they broke up) are pretty much in my top favorites.

I'd say his complete album was Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z. I'd put it right up there with the albums you named. I like it because it has a raw sound and compared to his other albums, I think 2Pac put more emotion in his lyrics and vocals in this one.

36 Chambers, is great for the same reason. I think both artists were hungrier at the time so to speak, and put more effort into their art instead of giving in to the mainstream and money.

Another really underrated west coast rapper is Sly Boogy. Everybody talks about the Game being the future of west coast hip-hop, but Sly Boogy's got the best rhymes coming out of the west coast IMO and he's just as young

KB8, u should be repping this dude, i hear he's from the I.E.

2Pac's best album is considered to be "All Eyez On Me." That is personally, my favourate 2Pac album, but its the most commercial album he put out. I like some commercial rap but I know the difference between whats put out now and what was put out by the true vetrans decades ago.
