First of all, Iverson, Marbury, Billups, Francis are barely point guards. More so guards who bring the ball up and shoot. Then we have Mike James and Milt... Ok, I guess he forgot about the other 50 PGs who are better than them.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting MrJ:</div><div class="quote_post">How did Kidd produce more than the MVP, Steve Nash?</div> He actually had impact on defense, he didn't average the same assist numbers, but please, no one has to say why that happened. He's not the scorer or shooter Nash is, but he's a vastly superior defender.

He produced more points assists and was more efficient overall. I don't think Nash's defense was that bad to make him that much less productive.
only reason nash got MVP cause of hype..he's kind overatted to me...i see he turned a team around..they aint even make it to the finals..nobody handed JKidd a mvp trophy after he turned the nets team around and took em to the finals in one year.and then went back to the finals following year...only thing Nash does better than Kidd is shoot....nash is a horrible defender...i think Kidd's vision is over nash's..the passes he pulls off are sometimes unbelieveable
What's the deal with everybody talking about Chauncey like he's All Star material? I respect the man's game, his outside shot and his incredible quickness and ball handling skills etc... During the Finals the broadcasters were going on and on about Chauncey as the strongest point guard in the league and I wanted to rock them. Kidd is the obvious choice when it comes to strength and all around PG duties. (Marbury isn't slacking in the strength department either, he can hit the three. Deep.) HE makes the team better. HIM, with his hustle play and professional attitude makes everyone around him want to keep up with his hustle. (You ever see Kidd grab a board then throw a big man off of him? Wowza.. the reason I brought up the strength issue is that I believe a point guard is someone who leads the team through hustle, passing, keeping everyone cool, igniting the offense, and disrupting the other teams offense by keeping their point guard off the entire game. Now excuse me while I start up Live and start another dynasty..
