http://www.nba.com/sixers/schedule/ We open the 2005-06 NBA Season and we also play our first home game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Hopefully Bogut will get a welcome from Samuel Dalembert as Sam demonstrates his blocking skills on him. Also Andre has a chance to welcome him to the NBA by dunking on him Too bad there ain't a game on my birthday (I suppose actually there is in my time zone but not in USA) The Sixers will get 22 National TV games. Only thing I don't like about it is that we have a 7 game road trip.
Wow we have a very tough late March/April schedule in front of us which will be key for us possibly winning the division. New Jersey twice, as well as Chicago, Cleveland, Boston, Washington, Miami, New York, Detroit, and Indiana. The only two games in April that shouldn't be tough is against the Bobcats and the Magic.
wow..22 national televised games, didn't we only get like less than 10 last season? I thought that was weird cuz all the seasons before that we got 20 something too
Sweet, there's 13 or 14 games on ABC/ESPN/TNT/ESPN2 so I can actually watch some more compared to last year. Man, I wish I had Comcast Sports Net.
22 Nationally televised games eh? It looks like they see the potential in the 76ers that they could do some damage this year therefore giving them some time to shine in front of all of America. Well it appears as if we are set to play the Bucks. Honestly, that's a good start. I can almost promise that A.I will go over 35+ against them seeing as that he averaged 40+ PPG against them in the 04-05 regular season. But with some acquisitions this off-season this Bucks team will be a little more harder to defeat this time around. But nevertheless, the 76ers should be on top of their game playing at home and seeing as they might get the first highlights of SportsCenter because this game will feature the 1st Overall pick in the recent draft they should do moderately well, I hope. Btw, is it me or is 19 back-to-back sets awfully a lot? I don?t remember ever getting that much.
I`m liking the schedule, lots of National Televised games too, I guess networks want to showoff the duo of AI and Webber. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Btw, is it me or is 19 back-to-back sets awfully a lot? <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Wasnt there only a couple last year? That is alot.</div> If anything I only remebered us having like 8 back-to-back sets last season, the most is 10, but this time around we get 19? What did we do wrong? A.I will love playing under these condititions but Webber has been monitored under these back-to-back sets and his conditioning isn't too well. But then again, that was the semi out of shape C-Webb with a bad leg, hopefully he works out in the summer and playing in back-to-back sets won't be as much of a problem. But for the most part, I think that is way too much.
The back-to-back sets do seem a lot much then last year, it is awful strange how the 76ers have so many of these games when they had so little last year. This is going to be key for the 76ers and especially Webber, last year his knees supposedly swelled up after back to back games and the 76ers can't have that happening when they've got 19 of these sets. Hopefully Webber's rehab went well, and he can get that knee back to 100% instead of about 40%. Who is going to try and catch a Philly game this upcoming season? I'm going to try and catch them in Orlando.
^I got Suns vs Sixers on my birthday, should be good. I`ll try and catch a couple, Dallas come much earlier this season, Nov. 9, I`ll try and get tix for that.
