Check it out here, courtesy of the official website. Anyways, I think we got pretty lucky. We don't have too much tough road trips and hard teams are scattered throughout. Also, I'm pleased to see that there's a cornicopia of national televised games for me to watch in PA [IMG].

I hope they are planning to show it locally.

Yeah its usually on Fox Sports net for Houstonians I think. Usually if its a nationally televised game, you'd better hope you have Espn, TNT, or ABC.

How come we only face Lakers 3 times?

And also, do we have more or less national televised games next season?

I counted 20 i think, how many did we have last year?

The Lakers aren't in our division, but they are in our conference. Sort of like Golden State. I think this is how it goes:

If they aren't in the same division or conference, you play them 1-2 games.
If they are in your conference, but not division, you play them 3 times.
If they are in your conference and division, you play them 4 times.

I think I messed that up, and I hope someone can shed some light on that.

It looks like we'll start 3-0 (Hopefully), then run into some problems.

    My Prediction

    <div align="center">NOVEMBER</div>

Wed 2 -- Sacramento Win, First game, Home Game. 'Nuff said, IMO
Sat 5 -- New Orleans Win, I don't think they will click this early.
Tue 8 -- Orlando Win, Again, home game, where's Fran? [IMG]
Thu 10 -- @ Miami Loss, Against Miami, in Miami, not so sure.
Sat 12 -- @ New Jersey Loss, though I feel we are better.
    Sun 13 -- @ Boston Win, T-Mac shows Green how it's done.
Tue 15 -- @ Minnesota Win, they still have to find themselves.
Thu 17 -- @ San Antonio Loss, SA had the best home record.
Fri 18 -- Detroit Win, without Brown, on our turf, we will beat em.
Sun 20 -- @ Indiana Loss, Artest is baaaaaaaaack.
Tue 22 -- @ Dallas Win, just to piss of Dallas Fans.
Wed 23 -- Phoenix Win, no mo' JJ (?), no mo' Q. T-Mac vs. Bell? Pfft.
Fri 25 -- @ Memphis Win, Stro' brings it against Pau Gas-hole.
Sat 26 -- Chicago Win, our floor, we should win it.
Tue 29 -- Atlanta Win, against the Hawks we've had trouble. Nevermore.

    <div align="center">END OF NOVEMBER: 11-4
I think this record is highly attainable. We could even do better than 11-4 (IMO). We could also do worse.</div>

True, but you seem to forget that we usually do worse at the Toyota Center. Would Swift immediately change that and get more fans to the home games? That has yet to be seen. I'd say Houstonians would start catching on in around December. Plus, we need to keep in mind that Swift might not click with the dynamic duo right away- sort of like last year.

How did the Rockets perform in back-to-back games last season? Just glancing over the schedule they have 4 in November, and overall their schedule looks tough from the get go. 11 of the teams made it to the playoffs last year, plus the TWolves & Magic just missed the post-season. So the Rockets are facing 13 playoff caliber teams in November alone. The 5 game road stretch is going to be demanding on the team, and after that they play 3 out of 4 more games on the road. Here are my predictions...

SAC - Win - 1st Game at home, Kings lack size still
NO - Win - Should be a blowout
ORL - Win - Close game, but the Magic are bad on the road
@MIA - Win - Will take a few games for the Heat to click
@NJ - Loss - NJ matches up well with the Rockets
@BOS - Loss - Tough to win the 2nd of a back to back road game
@MIN - Win - Yao has his best games against the TWolves
@SA - Loss - Spurs are close to invincible at home
DET - Loss - Team will be tired after a long road trip
@IND - Loss - Pacers two best defenders match up against TMac & Yao
@DAL - Win - Rockets look for some sweet revenge, won't have to worry about anymore controversial Michael Finley calls
PHX - Loss - Suns still have too, much fire power for the regular season
@MEM - Win - Grizzlies have no size up front, especially if Wright is traded
CHI - Win - Rockets defense can shut the Baby Bulls down
ATL - Win - It's Atlanta, nuff said

This leads to a 9-6 November.

Looks like this turned into a prediction thread. Thus, without ado, I'm following the bandwagon-

SAC - Win - Defense will slow them down and disrupt their flow of offense.
NO - Win - Come on, really, who actually thinks we'll lose?
ORL - Win - Good game to watch, but they don't have an answer for Yao.
@MIA - Win - Heat will need to work out chemistry like we had to last year.
@NJ - Loss - Nets are deep and have a good enough core to beat us.
@BOS - Loss - Too young of a team and they'll burn us athletically.
@MIN - Win - Wolves are still a shadow of who they once were.
@SA - Loss - This is the defending champions and they're at home.
DET - Win - Yao will dominate downlow against the undersized frontcourt.
@IND - Loss - What Shape said. And also O'Neal.
    @DAL - Win - Sweet revenge.
PHX - Win - Defense will kill offense, plus Suns lost Johnson and Richardson.
@MEM - Win - We'll dominate in the low post.
CHI - Loss - They matchup well with us, a surprise loss for us.
ATL - Win - See NOH.

This leads to a 10-5 record for November.

First time I have ever seen someone label the Pistons frontcourt as "undersized"

Compared to Yao, yes. He almost always shines against the Wallace Brothers. Plus, if the two get too occupied trying to guard Yao, there's always Swift that can clean things up.

Yao has always struggled with the Wallace brothers and the Pistons frontcourt. What makes you think he always shines against them?. I can only remember Yao having one good game against the Pistons since he entered the NBA. Even Tim Duncan struggles with the Pistons frontcourt. There's certainly nothing undersized about a 6'9, 6'11, 6'9 line-up to go along with the amazing block abilty and high vert those guys have.
