What losing team will rise to the occasion this year and clinch the playoffs because of this 2005 rookie class? Bobcats? Jazz? Hornets? Trailblazers? Just to name a few.
Welcome to JBB, I don't see any of the teams you named making the playoffs NEXT SEASON. maybe the jazz, i think they have the best shot. They all have the potential to make it in coming years with their young talent.
Welcome to JBB. I think Deron will help the Jazz make the playoffs, because when they are healthy, they are a good team.

I don't see any rookies this season stepping in right away and leading their team on his back to the playoffs simply because there are no types of players in this draft that have the ability to do that in their first season. You can see the Hawks or Jazz make a run at the playoffs this season but not because of Deron or Marvin. It's because they will have all their players back and healthy with Marvin or Deron leading the way. Down the road now it's a different story you very well may see Deron or Marvin Williams lead their team on their back to the playoffs but as a rookie I don't think so. The only rookie in past years I can remember that led their team, on their back, to come anywhere close to the playoffs was Lebron James.
I'll throw out a team not mentioned yet, the Milwaukee Bucks. Andrew Bogut will be a top center in the East, and he's surrounded by the perimeter players he needs to be effective. The trio of Bogut-Redd-Simmons is going to give teams a headache defensively. Plus you have a player like Desmond Mason coming off the bench, and TJ Ford back on board. They should make some noise in the East.
