Why dont the Rockets have third color scheme to the current ones they have now? I think a Primary color of black and having red as the color for the accents and lettering would be nice. What do you guys think ? I wish we could start some kind of petition.
If the Rockets decide to have an alternate it would have to be either a black jersey or a different style jersey such as the Mavericks green ones. A black jersey with red lettering wouldn't look that bad but I highly doubt an alternate will be made anytime soon because the Rockets have only two main colors (Red & White). Great alternates such as the Sixers or the Suns have three main colors (Red, White, and Blue for the Sixers) and (Purple, Orange, and White for the Suns) so it's easy to make alternates.
I think that the Rockets Alternate jerseys will be revealed, sometime AFTER the ASG in Houston (From CF a while ago). Some want the main color to be black, but that does not fly well with some officials (I don't know why, something about crime?). I would assume they're gonna be silver, with red lettering, or something out of the blue (no pun intended), like yellow or blue. I guess it depends on how well our retro nights go, but would many fans really wanna buy a Yellow Rockets jersey? The Pacers and Lakers have Yellow in their tradition, and even though we do too, this New-Rocket look might shun away some people from buying a Yellow jersey. I am sure someone can photoshop it, and change up the colors. I might just get around to it sometime, I feel lazy.
i like the rockets jersey so much. i love both home and away...and if they do decide to add an alternate...i agree, it should be black and red. it would look so good.
Black looks cool, but it reminds me of the Blazers too much since our other colours are red and white. Gold might look wierd, but it is a part of our tradition and i might be a deserving choice.
I was bored so I started messing around with the jersey colors. Ignore the weird colors of McGrady and the background. Black & Red Black & Silver Silver & Black Red & Yellow Red & Black Navy Blue & Red (Maybe we should forget that era) New & Old (My Favorite)
thats pretty neat, but if you like black jerseys, they have the rockets jersey in all black in all blue and all white at footlocker for about 80 bucks, they look pretty clean because i got a all black one its relaly cool looking, you guys should go check it out and im not sure but htey came out wiht a pink one too
I love that mix of new and old jersey idea. If I had it my way they would just go back to the 94-95 jerseys, those were so classic.

They play in those for the Hardwood Classics, and to me, they look kind of ugly. The red looks really outdated while the yellow looks like old mustard. In my opinion, the yellow and red jersey Julio has above reminds me too much of McDonalds. Anyways, the first and last look the best to me.
red/yellow and black/red looks the best to me. Azn, if anything, the last one reminds me of mcdonalds the most. You can't hate on the oldschool red/yellow jersey! Those are awesome!
