<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Warriors' already hearty ticket sales received a double boost Monday with release of their 2005-06 schedule and an open house at the Arena in Oakland. Fans began filtering into the Arena at 7 a.m., when mini-plans for the season went on sale. A few hours later, team president Robert Rowell said the Warriors had already sold 160 ticket packages, a number that steadily climbed until the doors closed at 9 p.m. "We're ready to roll," Rowell said. "We've been working pretty hard this summer. It's a big time of year for us." For the first time this summer, his fleet of ticket officials had exact dates and times of games for prospective buyers. The Warriors open at home Nov. 2 against Atlanta and host Utah on Nov. 4 before hitting the road for a three- game trip to New York, Milwaukee and Chicago. Among the schedule highlights are seven nationally televised games, beginning with a Wednesday night matchup against Houston on Dec. 14. The Warriors also host NBA champion San Antonio on Nov. 23 and runner-up Detroit on Dec. 9. Monday marked the first day mini-plans were made available for open-house attendees only. The packages will be offered to the general public beginning next week. "We're continuing to sell," Rowell said. "And we'll hopefully get this place sold out for all our games this year." The Warriors have set franchise highs in attendance the last three seasons and are positioning themselves for a fourth-straight record. Golden State averaged 16,350 fans per game last season, but crowds ballooned to 17, 360 in the 13 home games after Baron Davis joined the team. </div> Source
Wow, we are really high demand. Let's not suck please. That would be bad for the whole organization in ticket sales, and the players, MP2, J-Rich will be unhappy, we will lose key players, please make the playoffs! Use the ticket sales as motivation Dun-Dun!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting shapecity:</div><div class="quote_post">Shareef Abdur Rahim 'S' the 'S' is open for interpretation.</div>lol...nice. I really wish i was finished with school so I could get season tickets. After this year, this year being my last of school, I plan to be a season ticket holder. I'll also be a season ticket holder for the Oakland A's after they get their new ball park.
I found a great site http://www.tixtrade.com - You can buy or sell Warriors tickets from other Warriors fans for free. The site is community oriented like craigslist, but there is a great feedback system so you can trust the people you are dealing with. I think this would be a great venue to post your unwanted season tickets.
