I was thinking that with all the popularity of the old throwback jerseys, and the fact that last season they were used by teams so often, if the nba should bring back the old aba ball. To bring some added excitement to the game. Maybe in the week prior to all star weekend or even during the finals and playoffs...
There is really no point. The whole jersey thing is enough. I dont know but this ball can have a different feel than the one they use now so i doubt players want to adjust.

I dont see how bringing the ball back would be bad for anything.
Over the years there have been different basketballs. At this year's Allstar game they used a different ball and players admitted they didn't like that ball. Different basketballs make a difference

They already have Hardwood Classic nights and all the retro jerseys, just leave it at that.
I'd like to see the retro ABA ball at the Allstar game, it'd add some flavor to the game. Besides, the NBA could make some $$ advertising and marketing it during that weekend.
yeah but i dont know if it can work it just doesnt seem right you have jerseys but basketballs no way i dont think so.
