San Antonio- Phoenix- Detroit- Miam- Dallas- Seattle- Denver- Houston- Sacramento- Washington- Indiana- Chicago- Boston- Memphis- Golden State- New Jersey- Minnesota- Philadelphia- Cleveland- LA Clippers- Orlando- LA Lakers- Toronto- New York- Milwaukee- Portland- Utah- Charlotte- New Orleans- Atlanta- _____________ What Order They Are In Does Not Mean What Ranking They Are In You Put Number Next To Them And Rank Them Like That.
San Antonio - 1..they won the championship without any major injuries, nothing else can be said. Team is complete with no holes. Phoenix - 6..once they get a shotblocking center/outstanding rebounder to help Marion, and improve team defense teams won't have a clue how to beat them. Detroit - 2..as much as I don't like them anymore, they have team defense and play together like they came from the same mother. Miami - 3..almost too many scoring options with O'Neal, Wade, Walker, and Williams, but if Stan can get these talents to play together there's no stopping the heat. Dallas - 5..almost too deep.. Seattle - 4..two all-stars and an inside-outside game along with a fantastic coach they should've gone deeper into the playoffs, unfortunately injuries held them back. Next year will be different with JJ gone and Daniels in Washington. Denver - 8..Karl turned the team around and motivated Melo to step up his game again. When Kenyon gets comfortable with the system it'll be hard to stop them. Houston - 10..started playing well together towards the end of the season, when T-Mac starts to mesh into Yao the potential is there. Sacramento - 21..Bad move losing C Webb. No more scoring big men who can put up 25 on any given night. They'll be good, but I won't be surprised if they miss the playoffs. Washington - 22..Big losing Hughes, however they picked up another switchup guard in Daniels, don't expect the playoffs this year though. Indiana - 7..Artest (as well as Jermaine) is out for revenge. Watch Indiana go deeper into the playoffs this year. They're deep, and have an inside-outside team game, also being coached by one of the most brilliant coaches helps. Chicago - 9..The windy city is back with a youthful team with playoff experience. When benny boy develops and broadens his game watch this team go far. Boston - 12..Youthful team with a mix of veterans thrown in. With the loss of Walker it makes Boston one 3pt shooter less. I expect them to do better as Pierce starts to decline and the youngsters develop. Memphis - Don't like them too much, but they were undoubtedly good last year. Golden State - 19..Need a scoring big man New Jersey - 13..could've gone farther into the playoffs with a dominant big man. Once they fill the holes at the frontcourt the Nets have another chance at the finals. Minnesota - 14..I'll be glad when they get rid of Sprewell. He once was a player who competed every night and had a heart of fire, but after this season and his disgruntled-ness, I'm surprised Garnett forgave him. Philadelphia - 16..Stupid draft choice picking a scoring highschooler who plays the same position as AI, but when Webber is added to the system and Mo Cheeks guiding Iverson this team has potential to go farther in the playoffs. Cleveland - 11..Playoffs are expected next year with the addition of hughes and donyell marshall, I don't expect instant results but when they get into a groove there won't be any stopping them. (i'd like to see them match up with phoenix) LA Clippers - Orlando - 24 LA Lakers - 17..In my eyes Kobe proved himself, although I was never sure why that insecurity was there in the first place. They can make the playoffs this year once Kobe learns to trust his teammates and listen to Phil. Toronto - 23 New York - 18..star point guard, a new shooter, and a low post giant should help the Knicks. Milwaukee - 15..with TJ back, the addition of Simmons and Bogut I expect the Bucks to make some noise in the East. Portland - 25 Utah -26 Charlotte - 28 New Orleans -29 Atlanta -30

because I honestly don't see them as much of a threat in the west. Even if they are healthy, if either Boozer or Harpring leaves I don't see them doing much.

Even if they are healthy, if either Boozer or Harpring leaves I don't see them doing much.</div> For one, they're better than Toronto and Orlando. Plus, O'Connor denied the reports of the Harpring or Boozer trades so you don't know for sure that they are leaving. Utah is pretty deep compared to Toronto. I'm just wondering, what do Orlando have that put them ahead of Utah? The Jazz have a better core as well as role players.
I don't understand how Houston is #10 in some of ya'll lists? They're better than Denver, Dallas (now that they lost Finley), and Seattle (They lost a few big pieces). I like MiamiBalla12's list the best so far. There are some minor disagreements, but his list resembles mine the most.
1. San Antonio - The only team that still have their great core of guys. While other teams might seem to be missing that one or even a couple pieces, this team has is set. I can see SA becoming a dynasty. 2. Miami - I still think that if they didn't get banged up in the post-season, they would've beat Detroit. 3. Detroit - Another team that has their pieces set and will still be in that championship contending status, as long as they have a good coach and I think Flip Saunders will do just that. 4. Houston - I think that this year might be the year for the Rockets, that they finally get that big break. Out of all the teams, I'm very optimistic to see how well these guys will do, especially with Luther Head and Stromile Swift. A lot of high-flyers in this team and it will be really fun to watch. 5. Sacramento - I still think they did the right thing in acquiring Kenny Thomas, who is much younger and healthier than Webber. The addition of Bonzi Wells will boost an already great offence. 6. Phoenix - I still think that with Nash running the show, this team can do without Joe Johnson or Richardson. The only thing they have to do is keep Nash healthy. Marion proved to be a dissapointment in the Western Finals, but hopefully he'll forget about that and move on. 7. Cleveland - I think that with the additions they made this summer, this team could turn that dissapointing run they had last season. King James and Hughes might just be the most exciting duo to watch this coming season. 8. L.A. Lakers - It might take a while, especially for the young players to get used to Phil Jackson and his all-star crew of Assistants, but come on!? Ronny Turiaf, Andrew Bynum, along-side Kobe Bryant, Kwame Brown (who will become a star under Phil) and Odom. At least, the Lakers won't have any problems with their bench assistance. 9. Boston - I think that a lot of people underestimate this team, but they're young and I think that they finally got some experience from playing with one-another last season and went on a huge run. This year, they'll be ready and I'm sure they'll do well throughout the season. I might even say this team could finish well above 7th or even 6th place. 10. New York - One of the teams that will have a huge turn-around season, with the additions of their great 1st-round selections and Larry Brown; Marbury will have an all-star year and their front court looks very, very strong. A lot of people were booing when the Knicks selected David Lee, but I always liked his game and I think he's going to bring a lot of excitement and that grudge-style of play that will get everyone else going. 11. Seattle 12. New Jersey 13. Dallas 14. Milwaukee 15. Denver 16. Chicago 17. Indiana 18. Minnesota 19. Golden State 19. Philadelphia 20. Memphis 21. Washington 22. Orlando 24. Utah 25. Atlanta 26. Toronto 27. Charlotte 28. Clippers 29. Portland 30. New Orleans
