<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Brevin Knight appears headed back to the Charlotte Bobcats, but Keith Bogans is no longer a lock to return. The Bobcats are close to re-signing point guard Knight, according to two sources close to the situation. However, negotiations to re-up Bogans, the starting shooting guard for half of last season, have stalled to an extent that the team recently pulled its offer off the table. Knight's deal probably won't be formalized before next week, since his agent, Bill Strickland, and Bobcats coach-general manager Bernie Bickerstaff are away from their offices. Sources confirm an agreement in principle has been reached. Bogans is a restricted free agent, meaning the Bobcats could match any other team's offer for him. They're already committed financially to shooting guard Kareem Rush and have several other restricted free agents -- Gerald Wallace, Matt Carroll and Jason Kapono -- who can play shooting guard or small forward. The Bobcats announced two signings Tuesday, adding Alan Anderson and Antonio Meeking to the training camp roster. Both were undrafted players on Charlotte's summer team.</div> Source
Good to hear Knight is coming back, but I'd like to see Bogans return as well. He's a good handler, can play PG, and is also a good defender.
That hard work by Meeking payed off it looks like. Glad to see all of them signed. But I wasn't really surprised about Alan Anderson getting signed because the Bobcats were going to treat him as their 2nd round pick anyway.
