According to an article I posted in the Bobcats forum, Keith Bogans might not be back with the team. I think he would be a solution to playing PG for the Lakers next season. Bogans is 6'5, 215, and is a hound on defense. He doesn't have great range on his shot, but he comes from a great basketball program at Kentucky, and is fundamentally sound. NBA.com Draft Profile NBAdraft.net Profile - Capable ball handler that can play point guard for a short period of time as Bogans is a solid post passer - Intelligent player who has a solid grasp of the fundamentals - Competitive player who wants the ball in his hands when the game is on the line
If Bogans signed with LA, he would be a solid addition. However, I'm pretty sure he wants a longterm deal and not a 2 year deal.

I'd trade Sasha Vujacic or Brian Cook for him straight up. Otherwise, Bogans has to realize the opportunity he would have playing for the Lakers. He would have a chance to be a starter and there are plenty of outside opportunities for him to cash in on playing in Los Angeles. If he plays well, in 2-years he might be able to cash in on a longer, higher paying deal with the Lakers or some where else. Derek Fisher, Tyronn Lue, and Jannero Pargo all got some quality deals after their stint as Lakers.

Not the kind of players Charlotte wants or needs.
