Phoenix's contract term agreements with free agents Scott Padgett, a forward who played in Houston last season, and Pat Burke, a center who played in Spain, are also being prevented from finalization because of the trade's holdup. Free-agent center Steven Hunter's decision is also affected because of Atlanta's interest in him. Philadelphia and Dallas also have shown interest in Hunter, who is considering Phoenix's offer to return for the $1.6 million bi-annual exception with an ability to re-explore free agency next July.

"I think we'll get a better feel in the next day or two," Hunter's agent, Mark Bartelstein, said.</div>

I remember seeing a few Houston games last season and being impressed with Padgett's scrappiness and outside shot. Here's hoping he can contribute [IMG]

Houston Rockets fan here, I'd just like to say that you guys will love Scott Padgett...next to Deke and Barry, I wanted Padgett back in a rockets uni.............he's a great shooter and he hustles his butt off....not that great of a defender, but he'll be coming off the bench so that shouldn't be that much of a problem.....congrats on the signing.
