Wow...this is not good for the Eagles. You do have other weapons besides TO, but the drama will definitely effect your team.

Its rather unfortunate...I'd rather see a team do poorly because they lack the talent, coaching, etc rather than one person being a baby.

You can also look at it a different way. If lets say TO doesnt come back to play at all this year, a lot of people will be picking the Eagles to lose. A team trying to prove people wrong can go a long way. I think we still have a killer defense and a great QB, and you can go far with that combo.

TO has really gone off the deep end, the guy needs therapy if nothing else.

Yeah, that would be the hope. I just know that when Korey Stringer died, a lot of people thought the team would pull together, but it didn't happen. After the season, people admitted that the death really made the season harder.

Who knows, maybe the Eagles will show a ton of class by not letting TO get to them. He is really hurting his team just so he can get paid more money (I'm not opposed to him getting more money...just the way he is going about it).

the only problem is that if there is no TO, then there really isnt a good starting caliber WR. Greg Lewis does good against the nickel corner or a LB, but if TO isnt there he will be going up against the elite corners

Its a good thing Westbrook has resigned. Philly needs 1 weapon on offense. TO is just plain offensive.

I bet this ends his career in Philly. I would not touch him if I were the GM for the worst team in the CFL.

but if you consider when he is happy what he brings to the table, you really want him on your team. He caught more recs and TDs then the rest of the recieving core combined

TO is needed by the Eagles. Pinkston and Owens out wouldnt be an easy season. When u guys didnt have owens u had pinkston and mitchell who werent tht good but got it done during the season. The Eagles have proven they could do good with less than decent WRs. Lewis will not be able to be a #1 reciever when he was a 4th string last yr. U need more than McNabb and Westbrook to score enough to win a game even with a good D.

I'm glad this happened, let the rest of the team work together if TO doesn't want to. I just can't wait until the team gets a chance to prove all the criticism wrong. This is one player on the Eagles team, they can do it with or without them.

If the team doesn't need Owens to win, why did they agree to pay him $47 million when they could have spent that elsewhere?

Seems to me like the organization wanted him around...

I doubt it. TO may have scared off all prospective teams with the way he is handling this situation. If I were an owner, I wouldn't sign him to anymore than 1 year.

As long as you keep him happy head coaches will love to have him on the team, but when he isnt happy Andy Reid probly wants to beat him up.

Id rather have Torry Holt or Marvin Harrison on my team because they cause off the field problems.

I don't know how many teams want a guy who has been mouthing off to starting QB's and coaches. I believe the Eagles need to trade TO because as fast as possible. I know it might hurt but either way he is nothing but a distracion and to quote Terrell Owens he has no desire to talk to Donovan McNabb. Philly needs to do something even if it means trading him for a 3rd round pick and a reciever like Darrell Jackson type of player. Sometimes the value of the players talent isn't always whats best for the team. Maybe they should take a chance on Koren Robinson for year to get a former 1000 yard reciever. Yea he has had his problems but he seems to want to get better and can't be much worse than TO. TO is bringing the Eagles down.

First bringing in one problem (KROB) to solve another problem isn't how its approached...all they have to do is look back to 2001 and see how the Pats handled Terry Glenn....He started to be a distraction we suspended him for 6 weeks...he came back had a good game..mouthed off and he was gone for the rest of the season including playoffs and we still went on to win the Superbowl with a average at best receiving core....trading TO really isn't possible at this point because the Eagles cap would get killed and whoever gets him would need to sign him to a new deal and give him Huge bonus...noone is willing to do that for a guy like TO...at least anyone in there right minds...
