Just need some 3rd tier pg now. BTW: Rumour is JYD is going to be waived, I would love to get him back, even though we have Bosh and CV31 and possibly Bonner at the PF, I think we could find ways to rotate our line-up to include JYD. Imagine a 2-3 zone with JYD Bosh and CV3 in the back.
Dan Dickau would be a great pickup, but I don't think we have the funds to actually compete for him. If we don't got the dough, I'd want Williams just because of the potential he showed when he was with the Knicks. He was buried on Bulls bench behind Chicago's numerous guards, but this guy can distribute, defend and do all the things you'd want in a point guard.
That's a loss, but it ain't a dissapointment because we were half expecting Paxson to match. Oh well, bring on Jay Williams!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting VinKanaddy:</div><div class="quote_post">Oh well, bring on Jay Williams!</div> Yes! Jay Williams and Omar Cook are next up on the list. Regardless of how Cook played in summer league, I think he'll player better in a more organized game (the NBA), so I'm not really worried about how he did in summer league.
I've never been impressed with Omar Cook. I'd rather take a chance on Jay Williams. He has much more potential.
