Very Weird...... the Knicks waived one of the few players they had who actually bothers to play defence and who doesnt have a "bad attitude" label permently stenciled into his forehead. It's to bad, he works hard giving 110% every game and this is how they repay him. Also pretty said since he said when LB came to town along the lines of he was looking forward to playing with him and learning from him. And that he hopes his style will rub off on some of the other players in terms of defencive intensity; how that suits his style of play perfectly. Bonehead move by Knicks if you ask me. Mo Taylor's the obvious choice, Shandon Anderson would of made more sense as well. Dumb dumb dumb.

If JYD is close to retiring this was a classy gesture by the organization to set him loose, and let him know he will have a career after basketball with the Knicks. Source
I wonder if the Nets will try to go after Jerome Williams. HE is good on defense and does all the dirty work which would be good for the Nets

Shandon Anderson's contract would have been nice if we didn't have 16 players on the roster prior to the waiving of JYD. Also, you're someone who I've noticed likes to mention the Knicks glut at power forward. Since we had so many players there at power forward, the Knicks needed to get rid of one and they did just that. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Banks:</div><div class="quote_post">I wonder if VC and JYD are still friends after Jerome knocked him to the ground on a play last year, and stood over him.</div> I believe he outstretched his arm to VC to help him up...
