Williams will meet this morning with Knicks president Isiah Thomas, who will offer him a job as part-time scout, part-time community relations executive and part-time broadcaster for MSG Network. Williams, waived under the amnesty clause that saved the Knicks $21 million in luxury tax, has told confidants he doesn't want to pick up and move again to a new city, unless he gets a whopping offer. The $21 million left on Williams' contract is all guaranteed. I don't think he should retire. He is still pretty young and im sure he has a couple of more seasons in him. Why would he want to retire after only 9 seasons unless he's body can't take it anymore.
With the energy he plays with its hard to say he cant take it anymore. But if he decides to retire, then that makes the Knicks move look better. But overall i dont think he should retire because on the court he seems fine, but w.e. thats his decision, good luck to him.
