If there was 4 second left in the game and you were down by one who would you give the last shot to? It coulbe be anybody in the nba right now? Who would be your top 5 go to guys?
IN NO SPECIFIC ORDER 1. Dwayne Wade - he's a good shot creator 2. Tracy McGrady - can do well under pressure 3. Shaq O'Neal - post that man deep, and you got an easy bucket 4. Allen Iverson - can draw that foul good 5. Ray Allen - an easy short, mid-range, or even long trey could end it
1. Dwayne Wade - he's a good shot creator 2. Tracy McGrady - can do well under pressure and showed it(13 pts in 35 seconds) 3. Shaq O'Neal - post 4 Ray Allen - mid-range
if it was that one last shot than i would definitely choose Kobe. In terms of playing catchup though with a minute or two left i would probably pick Tracy McGrady or Dwyane Wade (as much as people would say how clutch Kobe is, they tend to forget his bad shots that put him and the team in an even bigger hole while playing catchup) I have a question, why do ou guys have Shaq on your list? If he got the ball, team's would immediately foul him putting him on the line. I'm curious..
^^ good point about shaq my top 5 with one point with 4 seconds left would be 1.kobe 2.iverson 3.allen or tmac 5. wade
1. Robert Horry 2. Kobe Bryant 3. Vince Carter (really underrated when it comes to discussing clutch players) 4. T-Mac 5. Dwyane Wade
Why would anyone NOT give the last shot to Robert Horry? It is ridiculous. Nobody's even close to Horry when it comes to clutch shots. Yes he might not be able to create his own shot, but the question being asked is who will you give the last shot to. As in, who would you design the last play for. 1. Horry 2. McGrady 3. Iverson 4. Wade 5. Kobe or Pierce
1. Mike Bibby 2. Dwyane Wade 3. Allen Iverson 4. Kobe Bryant 5. Ray Allen Why no Horry? With 4 seconds left you can bet that there will be a man all over Horry's ass, and chances are he would not be able to create the room and have his feet set to take a good shot with that limited time. The guys I selected are quick enough to create a their own shot and have a decent enough release to quickly get the ball out of their hands. Another player I would consider in that list is Kyle Korver. Let him inbound the ball and get it right back and there is a very high possibility that he will knock down the shot. He has arguably the quickest release in the NBA, and the shot he knock down against the Hornets to force OT with 0.4 seconds left proved it. And it was nothing like the Derek Fisher shot in which he didn't have his feet set or anyhing and ijust threw up. Korver acually had his feet set, elbows squared and everything in 0.4 seconds and still was able to get the shot off.

He's only been in the NBA for 2 seasons and as far as I'm aware, he hasn't made any real important clutch shots. He has nearly missed as many clutch shots as he has scored. Vince Carter could easily create his own shots and he has hit so many clutch shots and has the experiance.
1. Allen IVerson - surprised that alot of people dont have him on their list 2. Tracy Mcgrady- can hit big shots in the clutch 3. Vince Carter- Very underrated but can hit a shot for his team. 4. Robert Horry- why do so many people not have him on your list he is known as big shot rob 5. Ray Allen- can hit a shot from anywhere
No order: Kobe, VC, Mike Bibby, Wade, Ben Gordon (may be a little too soon to add him there, but I think he'll continue from last season)

And like you said he's missed more than he's actually made. But that doesn't change the fact that he would be able to bully himself into the paint with his speed & strength. I for one would put my money on Wade with under 4 secs left. However, the downside to all of this is that he's never actually attempted to attack in crunch time and he often settles for mid-range shots. Why? I have no idea.
Jalen Rose, Paul Pierce, Rober Horry, Tracy McGrady, Stephon Marbury, Allan Houston and Dirk Nowitzki (can shoot over defenders, can create off the dribble, passes off well, and is virtually unguardable).
